Zhu Jiang left Ford China, the next step to conquer Didi or Xiaomi?

On May 7, some media learned from Ford China that Zhu Jiang, chief operating officer of Ford China Electric Vehicle Division and head of the Mustang Mach-E electric vehicle project, has proposed to leave his job, and the final destination has not yet been confirmed.

At this juncture, Ford China is in the period of the newly established Ford Brand Passenger Car Division and Ford China Commercial Vehicle Division, which has made new adjustments to the management mode of business operations in China and carried out a series of personnel appointments.

It is reported that the business of Ford's China Electric Vehicle Division has not been affected, and mark Kaufman, general manager of the business unit, is leading a team with rich experience to promote the development of Ford's China electric vehicle business and the listing plan of the domestic Mustang Mach-E.

In fact, as early as early April, there was news that Zhu Jiang might join Didi, when it was less than a week after the listing of Mustang Mach-E, although Zhu Jiang himself had come forward to refute the rumors, but the industry's speculation about Zhu Jiang's future destination was stopped. Sources said Zhu Jiang had been in contact with emerging automobile manufacturers, including Didi and Xiaomi.
