Recently, when the Fenghua District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau conducted a sampling inspection, it was found that the residual amount of jellyfish aluminum in a hotel in Jiangkou (measured by the Al in the ready-to-eat jellyfish) was 1.12 *103mg/kg, which did not meet the GB 2760-2014 "National Standard for Food Safety Standards for the Use of Food Additives" ≤50mg/kg, and law enforcement officers launched an investigation according to law.
The investigation found that the restaurant purchased jellyfish raw materials from small traders and did not ask for certificates of qualification and food safety related certificates from small traders. Zhou Mou, the owner of the restaurant, said that in order to try to be a little cheaper, he bought jellyfish from small traders, but he did not expect that the metal substance would exceed the standard, and he regretted it especially, and he would definitely buy goods from the formal way in the future.
The Market Supervision and Administration Bureau ordered it to carry out rectification in accordance with the law, confiscated the illegal gains, and imposed a fine of 10,000 yuan. At the same time, the Market Supervision administration reminds catering practitioners that they must purchase raw materials from formal channels to ensure the safety of raw materials.
