In the vast history of China that stretches for thousands of years, many love stories have been born, some of which have been recorded in the annals of history, such as Sima Xiangru and Zhuo Wenjun, and more are plain and simple, thin and long-flowing, and the two have walked through this life with foam. In the history not far from today, Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao are a model couple, and they have set a correct model of love for future generations of young people.
Zhou Enlai is our esteemed premier, Deng Yingchao is a model for Chinese women, and has also made great contributions to the victory of the revolutionary cause and China's recovery and development. In her later years, when Deng Yingchao recalled that when she met Premier Zhou in early 1919, she could not help but sigh: He was so beautiful!

Deng Yingchao first met Zhou Enlai in 1919. At that time, China's internal and external troubles, China's progressive young people have thrown themselves into the cause of saving the dead and trying to survive, and Deng Yingchao is also one of them. In the summer of 1919, the progressive youth of Tianjin spontaneously held a patriotic salvation conference.
The 15-year-old Deng Yingchao's speech at the conference was very enthusiastic, she was not tall at the time, so she moved to the stool and then stood on the stool to speak. Deng Yingchao's patriotic enthusiasm infected everyone present, and people applauded the impassioned girl, including Zhou Enlai.
After the game, Deng Yingchao became acquainted with Zhou Enlai. According to Deng Yingchao's recollection, Zhou Enlai was wearing a well-tailored white suit, wearing a duck-tongue hat, white leather shoes on his feet, fashionable and handsome, and tall and straight, with deep eyebrows and bright eyes, and was a standard beautiful man. Zhou Enlai was also deeply impressed by Deng Yingchao, and her views on the revolutionary movement resonated with him deeply.
Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao became close friends, when Zhou Enlai was 21 years old, he only regarded Deng Yingchao as a sister. Zhou Enlai was the leader of the Tianjin Progressive Youth Organization at that time, leading the progressive youth of various schools to carry out revolutionary work, so he also admired Deng Yingchao's little girl's views on the revolutionary cause.

Zhou Enlai later went to France to study. Friends who have watched relevant film and television dramas should be familiar with this history. Before leaving China, Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao were close friends, and after going to France, Zhou Enlai often exchanged letters with Deng Yingchao to discuss revolution and ideals.
In 1923, Deng Yingchao, who was teaching at the school, received a postcard from Zhou Enlai from France. The postcard is the heads of the German revolutionaries Lusenburg and Liebknecht, and on the back is Zhou Enlai's flowing and timeless handwriting, saying a subtle love story.
The young Deng Yingchao was puzzled and did not understand what Zhou Enlai meant. At this time, Deng Yingchao's friends reminded Deng Yingchao: This is what he is showing love to you! Deng Yingchao suddenly realized, but Deng Yingchao did not agree to Zhou Enlai's courtship.
Deng Yingchao, a young woman with progressive thoughts, has always opposed feudal marriage, she believes that this is the obliteration of women's freedom and value by backward society, so she was not very willing to fall in love at that time. Of course, Deng Yingchao later admitted that the view of love in that period was too one-sided, and marriage should be the highest form of realization of love.
Secondly, Deng Yingchao has always regarded Zhou Enlai as a close friend who strives for progress together. Zhou Enlai looked handsome and handsome, his family was good, he was a charming young man, and he was relatively ordinary, so he never thought of falling in love with Zhou Enlai.
The third is that Zhou Enlai went to France to study with his girlfriend Miss Zhang. Miss Zhang was with Zhou Enlai when she held a progressive society with Zhou Enlai. Deng Yingchao knew of Miss Zhang's existence early on, and she has been indifferent to Zhou Enlai's courtship. Deng Yingchao learned later that Zhou Enlai had already broken up with Miss Zhang.
Miss Zhang broke up with Zhou Enlai in France. Zhang Ruoming was also a progressive young man who pursued ideals, accompanied Zhou Enlai to the revolutionary movement, and also went to prison with Zhou Enlai. In the back, the differences between Miss Zhang and Zhou Enlai became more and more serious, and Miss Zhang hoped to withdraw from the revolutionary ranks and enjoy a rich and comfortable life, and was unwilling to bear the risks and hardships of the revolution with Zhou Enlai.
Zhou Enlai, on the other hand, was a staunch revolutionary. As the saying goes, the Tao is different, there is no conspiracy, and it is inevitable that couples will part ways for this, and Premier Zhou cannot escape such a fate. After some pain and some reflection, Zhou Enlai decided to pursue Deng Yingchao, who was like-minded in his ideals.
Deng Yingchao is different from Zhang Ruoming. Zhang Ruoming is outgoing and spicy, while Deng Yingchao has a low-key, delicate personality, and pursues personality independence, with the strength and courage to revolutionize to the end, and Zhou Enlai is the same person. Since then, the two have fallen in love, promoted each other in the revolutionary cause, and made great contributions to China's development.

Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao mostly relied on letters to communicate during their love, which should be regarded as exotic love. After Zhou Enlai returned from France, he had been engaged in revolutionary work in Guangzhou. In August 1925, Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao married in Yangcheng.
When Deng Yingchao first came to Guangzhou, he waited for Zhou Enlai at the railway station for a long time, but did not see Zhou Enlai's figure, so he found Zhou Enlai's residence according to the contents of Zhou Enlai's letters, and did not see Zhou Enlai's figure. After a while, Zhou Enlai's subordinate Zhang Zhizhong hurried to arrive.
It turned out that Zhou Enlai could not get out because of his busy work, so he handed Over Deng Yingchao's photo to Zhang Zhizhong and asked him to help pick it up. Zhang Zhizhong waited on the left and right of the station, did not see Deng Yingchao's figure, presumably had already arrived at Zhou Enlai's residence, so he hurried over and happened to meet Deng Yingchao.
Zhang Zhizhong opened the door, and Deng Yingchao saw the warm wedding room arranged by Zhou Enlai. There were also two bouquets of fresh flowers in the vase on the windowsill. According to Zhang Zhizhong, this was specially bought by Zhou Enlai in the morning, because he knew that Deng Yingchao liked flowers. Deng Yingchao saw Zhou Enlai's intentions, and the unhappiness he had just had at the station disappeared.
According to Deng Yingchao's recollection, Zhang Zhizhong asked her whether she was waiting here or going to see Zhou Enlai. She said, take me to see the revolutionary situation in Guangzhou! So I saw Zhou Enlai, who was still working, outside the window of the conference room. Zhou Enlai was dressed in a military uniform, his face had faded green, a little more mature and steady, Zhou Enlai saw her, he looked up and smiled, turned around and went to work again.
That night, Deng Yingchao did not wait for Zhou Enlai, who stayed in his work unit because he was busy with revolutionary work. The next day, Zhou Enlai pulled Deng Yingchao to a very famous hotel in Guangzhou to have a meal. After drinking and eating, Zhou Enlai took Deng Yingchao to the mall to buy some daily necessities, and lived together that night, even if they were married. No weddings, no honeymoons.

Zhou Enlai treated Deng Yingchao very gently and single-mindedly all his life, and dancing with other girls was afraid of Deng Yingchao's jealousy, and only danced one section, not a song. The only time he was angry with Deng Yingchao was because Deng Yingchao took the pill for the fetal beating privately, and Zhou Enlai was not distressed about the child, but was worried about Deng Yingchao's body. After Deng Yingchao's death, he also sprinkled his ashes over the Haihe River, where Zhou Enlai's ashes were sprinkled that year.
