In a very special era, there is a very special class.

In this particular class, there are some very special people.

Perhaps in a special era, full of romance and passion.

But at the same time, it is full of iron and blood, love and hatred, gentleness in violence, and graceful violence.

In the treacherous conspiracy, fighting alone in the wolf's den, fighting with iron blood, entanglement of love and hatred, conspiracy and trickery, has become some heartwarming legends.

These people are rare talents, each of them is as dazzling as the stars in the sky, and they often use some special methods to do things that others can't do, even unbelievable.

Now to write about such a legendary red figure.

"Five-fold spy" Yuan Shu: Dancing with wolves for 14 years, 20 years of injustice, the strongest pretender in history I, Preface II, Left-wing Literati and Party Members III, Renunciation of Honor IV, Multiple Spies V, Major General Of the Military Intelligence Group Leader VI, Action VII, Use and Balance VIII, Intelligence IX, Retreat Home Ten, Grievances for Twenty Years

In espionage warfare, there is such a master, his reaction and sense of smell seem to be higher than others, and sometimes even have a beastly sixth sense, so that they can always escape the fatal blow of the enemy at the moment of a thousand gunshots.

Whenever he strikes, he can often give the enemy a fatal blow, that kind of accurate judgment, precise calculation, and incredibly fast movements, like a poisonous snake.

As fast and accurate as a wolf, as sharp as an eagle, as cunning and multi-faceted as a fox, and sometimes as good at camouflage as a chameleon.

He is the "five-fold spy" Yuan Shu.

He has infiltrated the enemy in multiple identities such as central unification, military unification, Japanese puppetry, and the Qinghong gang, and he is a legendary spy unique in Chinese history.

Yuan Shu, formerly known as Yuan Xueyi, also known as JunGuang, pseudonym Zeng Dazhai, pen name Biquan, born on March 29, 1911, hubei puchun puzhou town, is a declining official eunuch family.

His father, Yuan Xiaolan, was a member of the Old League and later served in the Kuomintang.

Yuan Shu came to Shanghai with his family at the age of 8, and when he studied at Rieter Academy, he embraced the idea of "anarchism" and joined the student progress group.

The May Thirtieth Movement broke out in 1925.

Yuan Shu, 14, began to participate in strikes, strikes and school strikes.

Soon after, during the Great Revolution, Yuan Shu participated in the Northern Expedition and became the youngest officer in the Northern Expedition Revolutionary Army.

Later, because of Chiang Kai-shek's rebellion, Yuan Shu went to Japan to study.

Yuan Shu showed that he studied journalism and oriental history at Waseda University and Nihon University, and it was during this time that he came into contact with the works of Marx and Engels and transformed from an anarchist to a communist fighter.

Spring 1931.

Grass long warblers flying, the sun is slanting in March, although Shanghai is busy, but at night there is still the meaning of Xiao Suo, the treetops sway, the breeze is fluttering, and the silence has been extreme.

At this time, Yuan Shu's face was thin, his eyes were shining with energy, and between Gu Pan, it was like a sword, but his eyebrows were tightly wrinkled, and his face was full of slaughter.

He founded the weekly Magazine of Literature and Art News, fighting the enemy with a pen.

After five writers, including Li Weisen, Rou Shi, Hu Yepin, Feng Hao, and Yin Fu, were secretly murdered by the Kuomintang, the Kuomintang authorities sealed the news tightly and no newspaper dared to report it.

In order to expose the crimes of the Kuomintang, Yuan Shu disregarded his personal safety and worked closely with Feng Xuefeng, then the propaganda director of the Jiangsu Provincial Cpc Committee, to stage a double reed play.

Feng Xuefeng wrote as a reader with the pseudonym "Blue Cloth" to inquire about the news of the five writers, while Yuan Shu published the front page of the Literary and Art News under the title "Writers in Hell or in the World: A Letter from Readers To Spy on Their Tracks."

This article passed like lightning, and the whistle passed away, and the silence returned to the air, but the silence was heavy.

Immediately afterward, Feng Xuefeng wrote two "letters from readers": "Writer in Hell" (signed Shuxia) and "The Death of a Young Writer" (signed Haichen), these two articles told everyone that the five writers "have been shot", so that the original mirror-like dark surge stirred up ripples.

Yuan Shu wrote in the "Literature and Art News" with the title of "Woohoo! The title of "The Dead Are Gone" published these two letters, adding a fire to the truth.

The two men cleverly and cleverly disclosed the news of the murder of five writers to the society, which quickly caused huge repercussions at home and abroad, leaving the Kuomintang helpless, and finally the military could only come forward to order the suspension of the "Literary and Art News".

Since then, Yuan Shu has officially joined the Left League, and he has devoted himself to anti-imperialist and patriotic cultural work with enthusiasm.

Yuan Shu was a very talented man, and the concept of "reportage" was the first person he proposed and the first to put it into research.

Xia Yan used this concept to publish the famous "Wrapping Worker", although Yuan Shu was not the son of Zhong Mingding's family, he was indeed a well-known talent, he was not only excellent at ink, but even his poetry Xiaoling was also being recited by people.

It is the Jiaowa of the style street who mentioned Yuan Shulai, in addition to covering up the mouth and scolding "Bo Xing", who is not haunted by dreams in their hearts?

If fate had no wheel and no rudder, Yuan Shu might have become a very influential writer in the history of literature, but a special mission changed the trajectory of his life.

October 1931.

The sun is setting, and the ancient road is vast——

The leaves of Jing'an Temple have been blown almost into chaos by the autumn wind, and if your eyesight is not particularly sharp, it is even difficult for you to see the figures coming from across from Jing'an Temple.

When the wind blows, it makes a whistling sound, but all this brings people a sense of poignancy and solemnity, especially when the night is thicker, this feeling of desolation and solemnity is also thicker with the night, so that people can't help but want to escape from this place as soon as possible.

However, there were two people waiting for Yuan Shu at Jing'an Temple.

These two were Pan Hannian, head of the Second Section (Intelligence Section) of the CPC Central Committee, and his assistant Ouyang Xin (pseudonym Wang Zichun).

On behalf of the Shanghai underground party organization of the CPC, the two of them officially announced that they would recruit Yuan Shu to join the CPC and participate in the work of the central special branch as a secret party member.

Yuan Shu felt some chills on his body, but there seemed to be light in his heart.

Due to the rebellion of Gu Shunzhang and Xiang Zhongfa, the shanghai underground party organization was seriously damaged, and in the midst of this white terror, as a communist, there was a danger of being killed at any time.

His belief in pursuing ideals was incessant, and he pondered things day and night, and in order to pursue the truth, Yuan Shu resolutely made this political choice.

Since then, Yuan Shu has disappeared from the cultural circle.

third, give up honor

A man secretly joins an avant-garde organization, and ordinary people do not know his identity.

They must also break away from the organization, fade red, disguise themselves as gray little citizens, and find opportunities to break into the enemy's interior, give up the honor they should have, give up their right to live as an ordinary person, and dedicate everything to the party.

The danger of doing the work of division and disintegration within the enemy is far more terrible than the open knife and easy gun on the battlefield, and it may be seen that the members of the organization are severely tortured by the enemy and subjected to great psychological pressure, and even die on the charge of reactionary crimes.

A person, in addition to life, there is more difficult, is freedom, is to destroy his own reputation, perhaps to live a lifetime of darkness within the enemy, even if sacrificed is a nameless person.

No one can do it!

However, Yuan Shu had no remorse.

It's not that he has a brain disease, it's that he really loves the truth.

Pan Hannian designated Wang Zichun as Yuan Shu's single-line contact.

After two months of training, Yuan Shu mastered the basic skills of making secret contacts and passing on messages.

In order to be able to successfully enter the circle of the enemy, Wang Zichun helped Yuan Shu sort out the relationship between relatives and friends, and finally Yuan Shu remembered that there was a cousin Jia Botao who held an important position in the Kuomintang.

Jia Botao is the eldest son of Yuan Shuniang's uncle Jia Baoshu and a graduate of Huangpu Phase I.

In this way, Yuan Shu and Jia Botao got in touch, and after Jia Botao's recommendation, Yuan Shu went to work under Wu Xingya, director of the Shanghai Social Bureau of the Kuomintang.

When writing his resume, Yuan Shu especially emphasized the desire to "get tired of left-leaning activities and want to live a stable life", which made Wu Xingya very happy.

When Wu Xingya saw that he was a talent, he arranged for him to go to Hubei to help him inquire about internal social information.

4

In 1933.

Wu Xingya established the "Ganshe Society," a secret small faction of the CC Department of central unification, and the opposite of this was the "Revival Society" of military unification established by Dai Kasa with Huangpu students as his team.

In this way, these two top-secret secret service organizations appeared on The Beach at the same time with the aim of supporting Chiang Kai-shek and opposing communism.

Yuan Shu was appointed chief of the intelligence unit of the "Cadre Society", and the head of the operations unit was Li Shiqun.

Li Shiqun was also a former Communist Party member, after which he and his wife openly betrayed the party and joined the Kuomintang.

Yuan Shu used the information provided by Wang Zichun to use this information with Li Shiqun to seek a way to rise, and soon paved the way for himself to be promoted to an important position.

Yuan Shu took advantage of the relationship between Hu Baoyi and Wang Yaqiao, a honggang figure, to match the representatives of Cheng Qian's troops stationed in Shanghai, facilitating secret talks between the two of them, so that Wu Xingya's intelligence group won "first-class merit."

Yuan Shu took the opportunity to ask Wu Xingya for a career as a journalist and began his intelligence work.

With the identity of a reporter of the "Xinsheng News Agency," Yuan Shu often went to the press conference of the Nanjing government, learned a lot of inside information from it, and he also had the opportunity to attend the press conference of the Japanese Consulate in Shanghai.

Under Yuan Shu's plot, he became acquainted with Eiichi Iwai, a diplomat at the Japanese Consulate in Shanghai.

Eiichi Iwai

Yuan Shu learned a lot of information from Iwai Hideichi, and Iwai Hideichi gave Yuan Shu a lot of "communication fees" every month to develop him as a spy for Japan.

In this way, Yuan Shu became an intelligence officer of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the Sino-Japanese negotiations, Yuan Shu used the channel of Iwai Eiichi to find out the inside story of such a hot news topic as currency exchange rates and tariffs.

Because Yuan Shu's news reports were fast and accurate, he soon became a red man, and Wu Xingya looked at him with admiration.

The Youth Gang and other gangs and chambers of commerce even regarded him as a guest, so he became his own person and set up the "Current Affairs Publishing Agency".

Yuan Shu wandered around in many forces, skillfully and circumlocutically, and was at ease.

After the "August 13" Songhu War of Resistance in 1937, the Japanese government decided to increase the number of troops in Shanghai.

September.

Before the summer heat had faded, it was already the autumn wind, the earth was desolate, and the sky was full of remnants, and the Japanese troops sent to Shanghai had reached nearly 200,000 people in five divisions.

In October, the Japanese attempted to enter the Suzhou Creek line to eliminate the Chinese defenders in northern Shanghai.

In order to be able to eliminate the Japanese army and fight against the invaders, Yuan Shu disguised himself as a Japanese student and risked his life to reconnoiter the Japanese positions, and he spoke pure Japanese and stood among the Japanese people with live ammunition, as if he were one of them.

He shuttled between various positions, kept in mind the cases of the Japanese army in the movement of military vehicles, successfully completed the reconnaissance task, and provided a large amount of military intelligence for the War of Resistance.

However, because of his various behaviors, he was finally tracked and arrested by the secret agents of the military command, and was released through du Yuesheng's mediation.

As the war situation changed, the situation became more and more tense, the Kuomintang began to retreat to the rear, and the agents arranged a large number of latent missions in Shanghai, because a large number of intelligence personnel who knew Japanese were needed, and after Du Yuesheng's reminder, Dai Kasa finally came to the private residence of Yuan Shu's wife Ma Jingxing on Wukang Road and asked Yuan Shu to see him.

This turning point surprised Yuan Shu and quickly reported it to Pan Hannian.

Pan Hannian helped Yuan Shu to make an analysis, and he thought that this was a very good opportunity, and yuan shu would be able to obtain a lot of valuable information from the military command in the future.

Pan Hannian

The next day, 9 a.m.

The brilliant morning sun, reflecting Yuan Shu's thick eyebrows and big eyes, copper and iron bones, shining with a dark brilliance, stood like a mountain.

Dai Kasa looked at the mature man, "What do you live on now?" ”

"Feed on my wife!"

"Shame or shame?"

"Shame!"

"You come to do things for me, and you have a good life!"

Yuan Shu whispered unexpectedly, "I don't know what Mr. Dai wants me to do?" ”

"Anti-Japanese!" Then Dai Kasa added, "What else can students studying in Japan do if they don't resist Japan?" ”

In this way, Yuan Shu was once again infiltrated into the military command and was appointed as the head of the major general of the Shanghai International Intelligence Group of the Military Command Bureau.

Yuan Shu set up a secret action group in the name of major general of the military command to punish the invaders and assassinate the notorious traitors, and was rewarded by the Military Command Bureau.

After the fall of Shanghai, Pan Hannian was evacuated to Hong Kong in mid-December 1937.

After that, Liu Shaowen, the head of the Eighth Route Army's office in Shanghai, contacted Yuan Shu.

Faced with the two forces of the Japanese and the Kuomintang, Yuan Shu stood alone in Shanghai, fighting alone in the enemy's camp and fighting with many forces.

With his wisdom and tenacious determination, he embraced an incomparably strong courage to compete with his opponents for intelligence battlefields, and engaged in a very special life-and-death contest.

Summer of 1938.

Throughout the night, the air was very humid and surprisingly quiet, and the temperature kept hovering around forty degrees. The person is constantly rubbing the sweat on the forehead.

Yuan Shu knew that the Japanese were in trouble, because he had already sent someone to find out the Japanese naval munitions warehouse in the backyard of the Hongkou Honda Spinning Factory. It was found that only a foreigner who was a husband could freely enter and exit the warehouse.

Therefore, Yuan Shu sent Wang Tiemin, a member of the "Anti-Japanese Iron Blood Regiment", disguised as a rickshaw driver, to contact his brother-in-law in the name of helping to buy vegetables.

After Wang Tiemin and his brother-in-law became acquainted, Yuan Shu handed the time bomb prepared in advance to Wang Tiemin and took it into the storeroom.

At night, a loud noise detonated the Japanese naval warehouse, and the soaring fire broke through the night sky, dazzling and dazzling, and the rumbling sound was like a symphony, as if it were a victory song.

This time the explosion dealt a fierce blow to the arrogance of the Japanese aggressors, and the people of Shanghai clapped their hands and applauded.

Yuan Shu then organized an assassination squad and ambushed the traitors, Chen Zemin, the puppet governor of Jiangsu Province, and Feng Xinru, the president of the puppet Damin Association, which caused a huge sensation and made many traitors who were preparing to defect to the Japanese feel stabbed in the back.

Autumn 1938.

Frosty days.

In Hong Kong, however, the four seasons were like spring, and Dai Kasa held a forum in Hong Kong for the backbone figures of military command and commended the anti-Japanese personnel behind enemy lines.

Yuan Shu also got two of the latest Canadian pistols, at which Dai Kasa said that he could kill the enemy with a gun, but could not be disloyal to the group, which made Yuan Shu realize that he, a non-Huangpu concubine, was not completely trusted by Dai Kasa.

After the meeting, Dai Jia received Yuan Shu alone and personally gave him a task, the most important of which was to assassinate Li Shiqun, the head of the Wang Pseudo Secret Service Headquarters.

After getting this task, Yuan Shu went to see Pan Hannian, who was in Hong Kong, and when Pan Hannian learned that Dai Kasa had ordered Yuan Shu to get rid of Li Shiqun, he said that he would go to Shanghai soon.

After li shiqun defected to the Japanese, he not only killed many people in the military command, making Dai Kasa hate them to the bone, but also hunted down and killed many communists.

After obtaining Pan Hannian's permission, Yuan Shu returned to Shanghai and began to plan the bombing of the headquarters of Agent Wang Pseudo-76.

On this mission, Yuan Shu personally drew maps and dug tunnels, and just as the plan was about to be implemented in the final stages, the shanghai district chief of the military command who secretly defected to Li Shiqun betrayed Yuan Shu.

Li Shiqun led people to detain Yuan Shu at No. 76 overnight, holding the no. 76 topographic map and demolition plan drawn by Yuan Shu himself, and forced a confession to Yuan Shu.

Li Shiqun

Yuan Shu said in his cell: "Since ancient times, I have planted it and left it at your disposal!" Needless to say! ”

Li Shiqun saw that he could not be tough on Yuan Shulai, so he changed his face and began to use money, beauty, and official positions to use both soft and hard, coercion and inducement.

However, what Li Shiqun did not expect was that Yuan Shu did not eat softly and hard, and the angry Li Shiqun used the Japanese to put pressure on him.

Yuan Shu said, "If you do things for the Japanese, I don't have a relationship?" I'm not doing things for the Japanese? ”

This remark made Li Shiqun shudder, he knew that Yuan Shu had a lot of Japanese relations, and he couldn't hold it for a while, so he could only be led by Yuan Shu's nose, and Yuan Shu took the opportunity to ask Li Shiqun to send someone to his home to inform his housekeeper Ma Jingxing to change clothes.

When Ma Jingxing arrived at No. 76, Yuan Shu took the opportunity to suggest that Ma Jingxing go to see Pan Hannian, who had returned to Shanghai.

When Pan Hannian received the news, he was very calm, and he picked up the phone and called Eiichi Iwai, who was already deputy consul general of the Consulate in Shanghai, and his main task was still to gather intelligence for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

After Iwai Eiichi received the call, he used his connections to bail out Yuan Shu on the grounds that "Yuan Shu is a person from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs."

After Yuan Shu was bailed out, Iwai Eiichi developed him to do things for the Japanese, and it happened that Iwai ran a special training class and secretly trained many intelligence officers.

Yuan Shu gladly accepted this invitation.

The Japanese side wanted to find a breakthrough from Yuan Shu to carry out counter-reconnaissance in order to collect the intelligence needed by the Chinese side and use it.

7, use and checks and balances

In order to deal with the political conspiracy and policy of encroachment of Japanese imperialism, not only the Chinese Communist Party was tit-for-tat, but even the Kuomintang also mobilized corresponding countermeasures.

The two hands of the revolution are used against the two hands of the counter-revolution, the open struggle and the covert struggle are combined with each other, and the gray power is carried out in the enemy-occupied areas, and the open is the struggle.

For a time, the forces of all sides checked and balanced each other, and the situation was extremely complicated.

Espionage warfare and counter-espionage warfare, lurking and arresting, assassination and collusion, blockade and counter-blockade, fighting wits and courage, every day staged a thrilling espionage war.

November 1, 1939.

The afterglow of the setting sun will reflect the sky colorful and gorgeous, and the autumn sunset will reflect the high-rise buildings in Shanghai more elegant and beautiful.

On this day, Yuan Shu proposed to Iwai to establish the headquarters of the "Xingya Nation-Building Movement", and after obtaining the permission of Iwai Eiichi, Yuan Shu hung the sign of "Iwai Mansion" at No. 938 Baoshan Road in Shanghai and began to form a team.

Yuan Shu took this opportunity to contact Pan Hannian to send a large number of personnel into the mansion.

Pan Hannian planned for Yuan Shu everywhere, and he not only dispatched many personnel to assist Yuan Shu in forming a team, but also found a reasonable explanation for him in front of Dai Kasa, who also saw that Yuan Shu could enter the Japanese intelligence agency and reused him.

This time, Yuan Shu went deep into the Japanese intelligence agencies, and dai Kasa was in the middle of Dai Kasa's arms, and Dai Kasa encouraged Yuan Shu to continue to serve the military command.

Under the mediation of Pan Hannian, Yuan Shu not only gained a firm foothold in the military command, but also gained a foundation in front of the Japanese.

Yuan Shu constantly won the trust of Iwai and made counter-exploitation of the Japanese political strategy of pursuing "comprehensive peace." Under such circumstances, Yuan Shu not only covered pan Hannian and other underground party comrades of our side, but also won the trust of the Japanese and the support of the Kuomintang.

For a time, Yuan Shu was in a very delicate position.

Taking advantage of the convenience and funds provided by the Japanese side, Yuan Shu expanded his own intelligence network.

When he was fighting against the Japanese and the diehards, he often used The No. 76 and the military command to mix the Japanese, the Wang pseudo-traitors, and the military command, and let them bite the dog.

In addition, Yuan Shu cooperated with Pan Hannian and directed an excellent intelligence war, and the Japanese and the Kuomintang and Wang Fu were sometimes very happy after receiving yuan Shu's information, but they did not know that all this was just a scene he co-directed with Pan Hannian.

Spring 1942.

The spring rains in Shanghai seem to have come earlier.

Although it is a spring rain, it is like a rainstorm.

Thick clouds like ink, stinging thunder.

The fierce wind before the rainstorm, the grass and trees that blow all over the mountains, the sound, although it is not the height of summer, but the countryside of the foothills of this Yishan Mountain is as depressed as late autumn at this moment.

The shadow of the sword and light sword quietly unfolded in this spring rain.

The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs arranged for Chen Fumu to visit Japan together with Yuan Shu as a representative of the "construction movement."

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Haruyoshizaburo Nono, was the protagonist of the visit.

During the visit, Noharu Yoshizaburo revealed Japan's national policy to Chen Fumu and Yuan Shu, and was preparing to lure Chiang Kai-shek and establish a greater East Asia co-prosperity sphere with Japan as the core, and told them that the Japanese army had determined the strategic plan for advancing south.

This news shocked Yuan Shu, and after Yuan Shu's many investigations and verifications, he concluded that the Japanese army's southward advance was an unswerving strategic decision, and then he reported this information to Pan Hannian, who immediately rushed to Yan'an personally to inform the central authorities of this information.

When the European War broke out in full swing, the Soviet Union was worried about being attacked by the enemy on its belly and back, and after having accurate information from Yan'an on the southward advance of the Japanese army, the Soviet Union was assured and bold to transfer hundreds of thousands of troops from the Far East to the Western Front.

From 1939 to the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Yuan Shu fought in a special position, he never had any accidents, and wandered in a complex multi-party camp, which is undoubtedly related to his wisdom and superiority.

During this period of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he completed countless intelligence work, actively provided the Party Central Committee with personnel transfers, troop deployments, and clean-up operations within Japan and The People's Republic of China; he also established secret lines of communication in an extremely complicated environment and rescued countless patriots, including Xu Guangping, Lu Xun's wife, who was personally rescued by Yuan Shu, and even covered the smooth retreat of Pan Hannian, Fan Changjiang, Zou Taofen, and others back to Yan'an; the information he handed over was able to quickly jump out of the "fence wall" surrounded by Japan and Puppets.

Yuan Shu not only fulfilled the tasks entrusted to him by the party, but he also marched all the way in the enemy camp, promoting him to various important posts, and successively held a series of pseudo-posts, such as the head of the Qingxiang Political Work Group, the director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, the Qingxiang Commissioner, and the pseudo-security commander.

Early 1945.

The morning sun of early spring in Jiangsu, cold, golden.

He, Yuan Shu, rubbed his sleepy eyes and walked out of the house.

He stretched out, stuffed the hem of his coat with cotton wool that was vomited out, and then pulled the belt of the corset tightly. Based on years of experience, he knew that not only would it be much warmer to do so, but it would also have the feeling of having just eaten enough. Finally, he took a breath of fresh air on his back, lifted his chest, and walked toward the sun.

This was done to make people look like he was sick.

It was such a sick look that made him successfully resign from the post of pseudo-director of education, leaving only the title of a Shanghai Municipal Senator.

The CCP organization informed Yuan Shu through Yun Yiqun that he was ready to transfer to the Liberated Areas, and this was the first time Yuan Shu had learned that he could return to the party's enemy and not be in disguise.

However, at this time, Dai Kasa also sent a pioneer Wang Xinheng to appoint Yuan Shu as the commander of the fifth column of the new system Einsatzgruppen of the Zhongyi Salvation Army and the commander of the third station directly under the military command, and awarded him the rank of lieutenant general.

After Yuan Shu and Wang Xinheng had been perfunctory for a few days, they suddenly hid and never showed their faces again.

When Dai Kasa came to Shanghai, he could not find Yuan Shu, and even when he did not see his shadow, he declared and published a "search notice" in Shanghai, but there was still no news of Yuan Shu.

In 1946, just after the New Year.

The Kuomintang learned from the Liberated Areas that Yuan Shu had become a Communist, so the military command issued an arrest warrant. Yuan Shu, who was originally a "meritorious member of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression" on the Kuomintang side, became a "communist traitor" overnight.

Dai Kasa was even more like a poisonous snake going crazy, going crazy everywhere, and such a smart and excellent agent as him actually made a Yuan Shu show his face.

Dai was furious and sent a company to Suzhou to raid Yuan Shu's home, and Yuan Shu's wife escaped from behind with her child, who had just been born for a few months, and came to Shanghai.

At this time, a newspaper in Nanjing published the news of "Yuan Shu's death from illness", and the name of a "traitor" who played the role of a villain in the enemy-occupied area disappeared from the political stage.

ten years, twenty years of injustice

In the early morning of October 7, 1945.

This was the day Yuan Shu left the wolf's den to return home, and on this day he arrived safely at the Headquarters of the Songhu Detachment of the New Fourth Army, the Qingpu Guanyin Hall.

At that time, due to the signing of the "Double Tenth Agreement", the Songhu detachment had to withdraw northward, and Yuan Shu followed the troops to Xingang Town in the Liberated Area.

Looking at the peace and tranquility of the Liberated Areas and watching the people's lives become more and more prosperous, Yuan Shu lamented that the 14 years of efforts were very worthwhile.

He marched all the way to Huaiyin with his troops, and Yang Fan, director of the Liaison Department of the Central China Bureau, personally went to the dock to pick up Yuan Shu to the garrison, after which Chen Yi and Rao Shushi feasted on him separately and welcomed him to the Liberated Areas.

Here, he also met Lou Shiyi, Ah Ying, Li Yihao, and others, who were old friends of the left-wing cultural circles.

For 14 years, Yuan Shu danced with the "wolf", single-handedly fought in the heart of the enemy, in order to task him disguised, anti-string various roles, and the enemy complicated, unspeakable bitterness and loneliness that had nowhere to tell, and now he is back and returns to his big family.

While in the Liberated Areas, Yuan Shu wrote down his work experience in the White Zone, 14 years of work behind enemy lines, and internal materials of Wang Pseudo, Ri te, and military command.

After that, Yuan Shu served as the director of the First Working Committee in the Liaison Department of the Central China Bureau, and it was not long before he began to take charge of the rebellion in the Ninghu area of the Kuomintang.

Zeng Shan, the head of the organization department of the Central China Bureau, considered his special experience, so he changed his name and re-registered with the new name of "Zeng Dazhai", while his 14 years of secret work would not be announced until after the liberation of the whole country.

In 1949, Peiping was liberated.

Li Kenong personally transferred Yuan Shu to work in the central intelligence department, and he accompanied Feng Xuan to Beiping to report.

This period in Peiping was the most prosperous day of Yuan Shu's life, working until late at night, specializing in the study of Japanese issues, and writing a large number of political articles on Japanese issues.

Yuan Shu is quick-witted and eloquent, and can often go deep and concise when making reports, and explain the problems clearly and clearly.

When talking about Japan's problems, he always gives the most detailed and comprehensive answers to others, so he is called an "expert on Japan".

In 1955, just as Yuan Shu was preparing to show his talents and dedicate his strength to the intelligence cause of New China, the "Pan Yang Case" occurred.

Implicated for working under Pan Hannian for a long time, he was sentenced to 12 years in prison for "counter-revolutionary crimes" and imprisoned for another 8 years after completing his sentence.

On May 15, 1975, Yuan Shu, who spent 20 years and 40 days in prison, bid farewell to Qincheng Prison and was sent to a labor reform farm in Dajunshan, Wuchang, for "employment."

The 64-year-old Yuan Shu wrote a letter to the leaders of the former organs, with only 8 words: "Life never stops, never stops." ”

In May 1977, Yuan Shu was allowed to return to Beijing on leave to visit his relatives, and he was finally reunited with his 20-year-old children.

For more than 20 years, it is like a world away.

His mother died in 1971, his wife was persecuted during the "Cultural Revolution" and ran away from home, his whereabouts are unknown, looking at his children who have already established a family, he is deeply relieved, he waved his sleeve, and a person came to Hubei.

He wrote a poem "Remote Imagination" in Hubei:

The skeleton was entrusted to the army mountain and left for the children and grandchildren to mourn.

The three spring embankments are singing willows, and the tombs are in front of the yan dance pond.

The grass and trees are frosted for hundreds of generations, and the rivers and rivers are busy washing sand for thousands of years.

The new dawn of the prosperous dynasty, the scenery of the homeland is more intense.

When he returned to the farm, he thought he would spend the rest of his life like this, and he also made a study plan for himself, squeezing out a part of the only 22 yuan and 5 cents of living expenses every month, and ordering four newspapers and periodicals: Hongqi, People's Daily, Hubei Daily, and Archaeology.

Every day he worked for half a day, then half a day of collective study, and in the evening he began to read newspapers and study, sorting out his previous deeds.

In October 1978, Yuan Shu returned to Beijing for the second time to visit his family.

Accompanied by his son Zeng Long, he went to the High People's Court to lodge a complaint, and he handed over his materials to his former old comrades and said categorically: "Even if I am burned to ashes, I am also interested in the Communist Party." ”

Yuan Shu always believed that he would be rehabilitated, and he also wrote a poem called "Feeling Indignant":

Ten thousand hammers are difficult to crack a hundred steel, a thousand shuo do not break a day of frost. Wind and snow drive away diseases and robberies every year, and the morning stars wash away the cold light at dusk.

In January 1980, Yuan Shu was rehabilitated, and by this time he was already in the middle of the year and suffering from half-body failure.

In the days of waiting for rehabilitation, he used his already inflexible hands to write down little-known historical facts and summarized a lot of work experience in intelligence work behind enemy lines.

Seeking truth from facts and not distorting history is his attitude, and he later wrote historical biographies such as "Du Yuesheng, the Great Rogue" and "Miscellaneous Records of the South Window".
