Jiang Weiguo explained the reasons for this in his later years, originally the time for assembling the speech was set at 5 o'clock in the morning, but the unit blew the wake-up number at 1:30 a.m., and the original division commander informed the regimental commander to get up at 4:30 a.m., the regimental commander notified the battalion commander to get up at 4 o'clock, and the battalion commander notified the company commander to get up at 3:30 a.m. Jiang Weiguo, who has studied in Germany and the United States for many years, felt that it was too strange for the Nationalist army to be in such a state, "I began to wonder whether it was appropriate to speak for a commander and use this method to consume troops."

However, it did not work completely, Xiong Xianghui once visited the home of Wang Dazhong, director of the Political Department of the Fourth Regiment of The War Cadres, and met several other colleagues who were also there, and some people suggested that it was better to set up a "legal field" in the home of the big middle brother. Several of them could not help but worry that Xiong Xianghui would report to Hu Zongnan, and Wang Dazhong knew very well that Xiong was never making small reports, so he hurriedly said: "It doesn't matter, Xiong Staff Officer has no problem." It can be seen from this that the gambling trend of the Nationalist government army has been repeatedly prohibited.

Hu Zongnan later talked to Jiang Weiguo, and wrote only one sentence in his diary: "If you think it is illegal to kill the squad leader of the sergeant, you should pay attention to your rights and responsibilities next time." The specific content of the conversation is unknown, and Jiang Weiguo's oral history in his later years did not mention anything about this matter. What do netizens who don't know the headlines think? According to me, the wind of gambling cannot be long, but the captain's company commander's shooting of the sergeant squad leader has indeed exceeded his authority, and if it were not for Jiang Weiguo, things would not have been so bad.
