For a long time in the past, everyone thought that he was the right hand man of Hu Zongnan, a senior Kuomintang general, and an excellent general of the Kuomintang. However, later, he never expected that he was a Communist Party member who had been lurking underground for decades! In 1919, Xiong Xianghui was born in Ye County, Shandong Province. His father served as a local county magistrate and later became president of the Criminal Division of the Hubei High Court. Because he was in a chaotic world, he actively joined the Anti-Japanese War and National Salvation Movement. Soon after, he became a member of the Communist Party under the introduction of Jiang Nanxiang, president of Tsinghua University.
Although it was during the period of cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communists, Zhou Enlai was extremely distrustful of the Kuomintang's determination to unite against Japan together. In order to learn more about the intelligence of Chiang Kai-shek, Hu Zongnan, and others, they took precautions and decided to take the lead in installing "idle chess and cold games" in the ranks of the Nationalist army.
So Zhou Enlai asked Jiang Nanxiang, president of Tsinghua University, to recommend candidates for him according to Hu Zongnan's personality preferences. Xiong Xianghui, who heard this, was excited in his heart at the moment, and he was finally going to successfully blend into the enemy. However, on the surface, he still deliberately pretended to be flattered, saying: "Mr. Hu, we have only known each other for a short time, and let me take on this heavy responsibility. Hu Zongnan patted Xiong Xianghui's shoulder and said, "I believe in my own vision, I already know you very well."
In this way, Xiong Xianghui, who was only 20 years old, successfully became Hu Zongnan's assistant. By the end, Hu Zongnan had completely regarded Xiong Xianghui as his own, and even the confidential documents sent by Chiang Kai-shek to Hu Zongnan were signed by Xiong Xianghui. In this way, Xiong Xianghui began more than a decade of latent work.

So Xiong Xianghui, a chess piece that had been lurking within the Kuomintang for many years, finally came in handy, and in order to facilitate the timely transmission of news, the Party Central Committee also specially sent Wang Shijian to Xi'an to obtain top-secret single-line contact with Xiong Xianghui alone.
Xiong Xianghui, who knew the burden on his body, tried to observe the dynamics around him all the time. In 1943, Xiong Xianghui received a surprising news - the National Names Party was preparing to "blitz Yan'an".
In 1943, when Chiang Kai-shek was in the midst of a joint anti-Japanese struggle, Chiang Kai-shek tried to abandon the country and insisted on setting off a third counter-offensive battle. At that time, the Communist army fought with all its might, and the struggle was on the front line. As for the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia region, which is our base area, there is a shortage of troops, and it can be said that it will be broken in one attack. However, Chiang Kai-shek took the opportunity to send a message to Hu Zongnan, who was then the deputy commander of the Kuomintang Eighth Theater, asking him to attack Yan'an.
Once this plan is successfully completed, it will be a heavy blow to our party. Fortunately, Xiong Xianghui learned about this attack plan through Hu Zongnan. He immediately sent a message to Wang Shijian, entrusting him to transmit this top-secret information back to the central government.
Premier Zhou was shocked to learn of the Kuomintang's bold plan. But fortunately, Xiong Xianghui's timely transmission can make our party ready. The enemy is bright and dark, and quickly formulates a set of countermeasures to make an "empty city plan." Commander-in-Chief Zhu De reported in newspapers and on the radio that the Kuomintang had abandoned the War of Resistance and was preparing to attack Yan'an. For a long time, Xiong Xianghui's lurking identity has been unknown to no one in the Kuomintang. Until one time, the Kuomintang in Xi'an accidentally cracked the CCP's underground radio station, and a large number of CCP underground informants were arrested, including the operator responsible for contacting Xiong Xianghui.
Hu Zongnan did not expect that the person closest to him was actually a spy! Shocked at the same time, hate tickled his teeth. But because Xiong Xianghui is far away in the United States, plus if he lets the outside world know, his face will be put there, he can only knock down his teeth and swallow blood, and he has been trying to suppress it and dare not speak out.
But in the end, the paper wrapped could not hold the fire, and Chiang Kai-shek still learned. However, because the Kuomintang was already in turmoil at that time, Chiang Kai-shek could not protect himself. In order to stabilize the internal situation of the Kuomintang, Chiang Kai-shek had no time to take care of Xiong Xianghui, and could only try his best to conceal it and pretend that nothing had happened. But the anger in his heart was difficult to calm, so it was all sprinkled on Hu Zongnan. The former confidant is now cold to the side and works as an idle consultant.
In 1985, Kuomintang Army Lieutenant General Shen Drun wrote this secret into his own internal work of military unification. At this time, everyone knew that Hu Zongnan believed in the wrong person, and also learned about Xiong Xianghui's legendary intelligence career.
