About the masters of art
Frida Kahlo (1907-1954) was one of the most influential Latin American painters of the twentieth century. She was born in the Coyaocan neighborhood of southern Mexico City to a German-Jewish painter and photographer father and a mother of Spanish and American Indian descent. She was affected by physical injuries during her first growth, polio at the age of 6; car accident at the age of 18, a crushing fracture of the whole body; 32 surgeries and 3 miscarriages; married at the age of 22, cheating and betraying each other; divorced at the age of 32, remarried at the age of 33, and died at the age of 47. She is a well-known painter, a famous woman, a bisexual, the wife of Rivera, a woman printed on national banknotes, and her works are among the most expensive female painters in the world.
