This article is a sequel to Zhang Jingwu's Special Mission written by Zhou Jun, and the history books published in the past are based on the "Excerpts from the Diary" of The Selected Materials of Tibetan Literature and History, but this excerpt does not carefully check the original version of the diary, and some of the contents deviate from the historical facts. This article is based on the original contents of the diary provided by Leyu Hong's family, the original report of the People's Daily in 1951, and the latest disclosure of several pages of Zhang Jingwu's diary stored in the Central Archives.

On June 13, 1951, Zhang Jingwu and his party of more than 20 people boarded a train heading south. Subsequently, the People's Daily prominently published a detailed report on the first page. The news that the central representatives of the central authorities went to Tibet to Go to Yadong has attracted the keen attention of all sectors of society and the world media.

The original text of Zhang Jingwu's diary from June 13 to 27

On June 17, Zhang Jingwu and his party arrived at the Guangzhou Railway Station, greeted by Zeng Sheng, commander of the Two Guangdong Column and first deputy chief of staff of the South China Military Region, and Vice Mayor Fang (the original record was wrong, it should be Fang Fang, the first vice chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Government), and stayed at the First Guest House of the Provincial Government Communication Office located near Taiping Road (now No. 17 Renmin South Road) near Shamian, which opened in 1930 and concentrated the Western architectural style in one White House Hotel.

On June 21, Zhang Jingwu learned that Hong Kong flew to Singapore to buy, Singapore flew to Kolkata only once a week, the visa on the passport could only stay in Singapore for 24 hours, the earliest flight was to fly to Singapore on June 30, and there were only 10 tickets to Fly kolkata. Boat tickets are easy to buy.

Zhang Jingwu decided: On June 30, the first personnel would take the lead, including Hao Guangfu, confidential secretary and translator with the code, Li Yongke, an internal guard officer, and Peng Zhe, a Tibetan translator; three representatives sent by the Kashag, Kaimo Soan Wangdui, Tudan Danda, Sangpo Dengzendunzhu, and Chinese translator Yaosi Phuntsok Tashi; and Shen Jian, Chinese political counselor in India, and an English translator. Happy to be the second batch. More than 70 boxes of gifts prepared for the united front work could only be transported by ship for a long time, and Liu Yuping (Huang Bin), chief of the Liaison Department of the Central Military Commission, and Li Tianzhu, deputy chief of the guards of the General Office of the Central Military Commission, took the remaining seven people by boat through Myanmar to Calcutta.

The other seven people on the boat were: three confidential officers and operators sent by the Liaison Department of the Central Military Commission: Yang Shurong, Zhang Changding, and Li Zuoxun; Hao Chuangxing, head of the telegraph sorting section transferred from the Northwest Military Region to the General Office of the Central Military Commission; and three members of the medical team dispatched by the General Logistics Department: surgeon Xu Lotian, si yao Wei Xiaofeng, and nurse Feng Guansen. Among them, Yang Shurong and Hao Guangfu are still alive.

On June 28, the United Press Agency issued a news release in Hong Kong: "Chinese Communists are obviously carrying pistols to protect the Tibetan representatives, and the representatives say that they are not authorized to reply to reporters..."

On June 29, Leyu Hong's diary, Director Zhang, that is, Zhang Jingwu, director of the General Office of the Central Military Commission.

On June 30, Zhang's group of ten people set off from their residence and took a flight to Singapore. Le Yuhong's diary does not record Zhang Jingwu's specific itinerary after his departure, but his own itinerary in Hong Kong. The diary of the Central Archives is currently only visible on June 27.

On July 1, Deputy Zhang and his party flew from Singapore to Calcutta, india's second largest city, where they were greeted by Yuan Zhongxian, Chinese Ambassador to India, and Yao Zhongkang, Consul General of the Consulate General in Calcutta.

On July 6, it was decided that on July 7, Sandu Renqing, an English translator for Leyu Hong and the Kashag, and Wang Zhen, a messenger from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, flew to Singapore, and on July 8, they flew to Calcutta in transit.

July 4-6, Happy Diary

On July 8, After six and a half hours, Leyuhong arrived in Kolkata at 15:30 (13:30 India time) after taking off at 9:00 a.m. in the morning, and Zhang Jian of the consulate went to greet the three people.
