Departments similar to the "Qin Tianjian" have existed in successive dynasties and dynasties, when science and technology were not very developed, and the officials of the "Qin Tianjian" had to make a reasonable explanation if the country had major events or the celestial phenomena were abnormal.

Because the ancients firmly believed that "there is a god who raises his head three feet", the human world should do things in accordance with the so-called "Heavenly DaoLunchang". Some of the courtiers were also very good at using the "Qin Tianjian" and playing some of their own ideas to the emperor with the help of the officials of the "Qin Tianjian".

However, the one mentioned below did the opposite, using his proficiency in feng shui to influence the courtiers and the emperor in turn.

01

Feng Shui scholar

Guo Pu was born in Wenxi County, Shanxi, the son of a former official to Jianping Taishou. He is not good at verbal expression, usually likes to study academics, history book evaluation: profound learning and great talent, his level of word endowment is second to none in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. When he was a teenager, there was a strange man who lived in Wenxi who was proficient in the art of divination, and Guo Pu followed him to learn the art of divination, and thus became proficient in yin-yang and calendar arithmetic.

A good family lineage ensured that Guo Pu was able to successfully serve as an official in the Jin Dynasty, thus distinguishing him from ordinary feng shui masters; and his solid literary skills ensured that Guo Pu had always been in the first echelon of high society, after all, in the Jin Dynasty, where famous scholars were born, no two brushes could not be integrated; Guo Pu often used his special skills to take advantage of the special skills of the fierce Ji, and in the name of "Heavenly Dao Lunchang", he vaguely expressed his views on the situation, and it was this worry about the country and the people that made him occupy a special position in history.

In short, Guo Pu belongs to a magical combination. There are too many things about his divination in the history books, and many plots are like the "Search for God" written by Gan Bao in the same period. In the present era of scientific prosperity, we will not introduce too much, but only say that he has spoken for the country.

One year, dark spots appeared on the sun. We who have studied geography all know that this is the temperature change caused by the sun's own strong magnetic field, and the low temperature place looks a little dark in the contrast of the high temperature area, which is called sunspot. But the ancients did not understand ah, sunspots in ancient times belonged to abnormal celestial phenomena, every time it occurred to be recorded.

At that time, the Eastern Jin Dynasty was founded, and although Sima Rui, the prince of Taiping, who had no prestige, avoided disasters in Jiangnan as an imperial family, he could not get the support of the local warrior clan, and it was the king who made the warrior clans who migrated from the south and the north support Sima Rui. Therefore, Sima Rui also repaid Li with peach, appointed Wang Dao as the prime minister, let him govern, and ruled with his own arch, and had a good life.

Guo Pu saw that this was not okay, you were the emperor and you had to listen to the opinions of the courtiers. So he took advantage of the sunspot of that year and said: The heavens correspond to the king's breath, and the appearance of black spots on the sun shows that the yang qi is not exuberant, and the emperor can only show auspiciousness if he exerts virtue. Since ancient times, the happier the monarch, the more depressed the people became.

From the sunspot to the broad opening of the road, it can be seen that Guo Pu really took a lot of thought.

Convenience for the public

One year, the seasons in the Jiangnan region were unusual, and it was rainy from autumn onwards, and there were torrential rains throughout the Eastern Jin Dynasty, resulting in flooding. The worst thing is that the rainy season continues continuously, until the second year, making the people miserable.

Exactly the following year, as the Eastern Jin Dynasty gradually got on the right track and established various rules, in order to maintain the authority of the judiciary, the official government Daxing Prison punished those who did not abide by the law. Guo Pu wanted to stop the flood of litigation in his heart, but to put it bluntly, it was easy to cause fire, so he cleverly contacted the rain disaster and presented sima Rui with the famous "Provincial Punishment".

"I think the rain was mainly due to the resentment accumulated by the court's numerous prisons. Emperor, you must pay attention to this matter, otherwise in the future, more than rain will cause floods, what if there are droughts, earthquakes, eclipses, and monsters that come out to plague the world?

According to the I Ching, gentlemen should have the courage to admit mistakes, foresee disasters and prevent them, and I think the emperor should publish his responsibility for negligence, clean up the shortcomings and reduce the prison, so that those who are dying in prison can survive as easily as ordinary people.

At present, the country has just been created, and the strategy for governing the country is not yet complete, and the people should be cared for with benevolent government, and punishment should not be severely imposed. ”

In the first year of Yongchang, Sima Rui's eldest grandson was born. That year, according to the algorithm of the Heavenly Dry Earth Branch, it belonged to the year of noon, and the Jin Dynasty Shang Jinde was the most taboo "noon" according to the content of the five elements of gossip.

Guo Pu took the opportunity to go up and once again pleaded with the emperor to spread grace to the people, accumulate blessings for the emperor's eldest grandson, and prevent disasters. The Emperor of the Divine Light has always thought that he has always lived in danger, and only the Emperor of darkness feels that he is safe.

The emperor who was pleased with his grandson was very appreciative of Guo Pu's omission, and specially issued a reply, saying that he would follow Guo Pu's suggestion.

Reverence for nature

At that time, some people expressed dissatisfaction with Guo Pu's use of divination to discuss state affairs. The latter replied in the article "Ke Ao", saying that his technique of divination, like Jiao Xian's escape and Ruan's drunkenness, was a means of self-preservation in a chaotic world.

Ruan's drinking is easy to understand, and Jiao Xian is also a strange person in the Jin Dynasty. One day, the grass hut where Jiao Xian lived suddenly caught fire and burned for a long time before it was extinguished. When people found out, Jiao Xian sat with his eyes closed in the fire, as if nothing had happened. Only after the fire was extinguished did he open his eyes and get up, and even the clothes on his body were not blackened!

Jiao Xian then built a grass hut and encountered heavy snow in the winter. Many houses in the village have been crushed by snow, including Jiao Xian's thatched huts. But when the villagers pulled Jiao Xian out of the rubble, they found that he was still asleep, and the surrounding heat was steaming. Therefore, everyone thinks that he can use the art of soil escape, which is the origin of "Jiao Xian's escape".

Guo Pu persuaded the emperor in the form of prophecy, and later persuaded Wen Yu and Yu Liang to raise troops to fight, and Wang Dun and Wang Dun, who had divided Jingzhou, rebelled and stopped the rebellion by signing the "Wucheng" sign, all of which reflected Guo Pu's political attitude.

It was precisely because he conformed to nature, had compassion for the people, and had a reverence for life, and at the same time persuaded the Eastern Jin Dynasty court to think like himself that he had a stable social foundation, and Guo Pu was respected by future generations.
