Zhu Yuanzhang joins the Red Turban Army: the opening game is a bowl han Lin'er is proclaimed emperor: King Xiaoming ascends the throne

Red Turban Rebellion: In 1351 (the eleventh year of the Yuan Dynasty), the Red Turban Rebellion broke out.

In 1352, Zhu Yuanzhang joined the Red Turban Army of the peasant rebel army at the end of the Yuan Dynasty.

Zhu Yuanzhang joins the Red Turban Army: the opening game is a bowl han Lin'er is proclaimed emperor: King Xiaoming ascends the throne

Zhu Yuanzhang decided to oppose the Yuan, inseparable from his childhood playmate, Tang He, who later became the founding general. One day, Zhu Yuanzhang, who was then a monk at huangjue temple, received a letter from Tang He, telling him to join the Red Turban Army and seek wealth together.

After Reading the letter, Zhu Yuanzhang's heart fluttered and beat, and joining the Red Turban Army was a rebellion for the imperial court and a major crime of killing the head.

But Zhu Yuanzhang thought back to his senses, he was already twenty-four or five years old, still a small Shami who did not show up, every day he did the dirty work of sweeping the floor, cooking, washing clothes, brushing urine cans, and often eating other people's leftovers, when was he a leader? Although there is a danger of killing the head of the Red Turban Army, it will not be angry with this, and if you are lucky, you can still get rich and rich.

Just when Zhu Yuanzhang hesitated, a brother came to him and secretly told him that the content of the letter was already known to others, and he was preparing to go to the official palace to report you!

Zhu Yuanzhang was scared and anxious, and fled? You have to ask for food everywhere. Go to the government office to make it clear? Letters from friends, it is difficult to escape. It is better to vote for the Red Turban Army and take a gamble. As a result, Zhu Yuanzhang joined the Red Turban Army and opened his life path from beggar to emperor.

At that time, it was the last year of the Yuan Dynasty, the rule of the Yuan Dynasty was getting darker and more corrupt, in addition, there were locust plagues and droughts in various places, and many people could not survive and had to rise up.

The Red Turban Uprising emerged against this backdrop. Just a year before Zhu Yuanzhang joined the Red Turban Army, the White Lotus Sect members Han Shantong and Liu Futong were the first to lead an uprising in Yingzhou (present-day Yingzhou District, Fuyang City, Anhui Province), and they used "Maitreya's birth" and "birth of the Ming King" to win over believers, and soon formed a rebel army.

The rebel army wrapped its head in a red scarf, known as the "Red Turban Army", and everywhere it went, it opened warehouses to release grain and help the victims of the disaster, so it was supported by the people everywhere. Therefore, the people joined in one after another, and the Red Turban Army soon grew to more than 100,000 people, active in Anhui and Henan.

The following year, Guo Zixing, a rich man from Dingyuan (濠州定遠, in modern Dingyuan, Anhui), also led a rebel army to capture Haozhou and proclaimed himself a marshal. Zhu Yuanzhang's friend Tang and the rebel army that joined Guo Zixing earlier had already done thousands of households, so they would think of the poor friend Zhu Yuanzhang and want to pull him into the company.

From Zhu Yuanzhang's point of view, he has always been an oppressed person at the bottom of society. His father used to work as a tenant farmer for the landlord's family, and Zhu Yuanzhang also herded cattle for the landlord's family from an early age, and the family was poor and often did not have enough to eat. Later, there was a famine and a plague, and his father, mother, and eldest brother died one after another, and he made Shami at huangjue Temple in order to survive, just to eat mixed food.

Later, huangjue temple also did not eat, he was driven out to change his fate, in fact, he wanted food. He asked for food for three years, from Anhui to Henan, and from Henan to Anhui, back to Huangjue Temple. During this period, he suffered a lot, but also gained a lot of insight. The white lotus cult and the red turban army revolt were exactly what he knew during the meal. It can be said that Zhu Yuanzhang's final decision to join the Red Turban Army was also some psychological preparation, and Zhu Yuanzhang believed in his heart that the Red Turban Army had the possibility of successfully overthrowing the Yuan Dynasty.

After Zhu Yuanzhang came to Guo Zixing's Red Turban Army, because of his bravery in battle and his ability to read a little, he was quickly appreciated by Guo Zixing, and was transferred to the Marshal's Office and became the commander of the nine guards (the small leader of the guards).

Later, Zhu Yuanzhang became more and more famous in the military because of his shrewdness and ability. Guo Zixing regarded him as a confidant, discussed many important things with him, and also betrothed his adopted daughter Ma Shixu to him. Ma Shi was the later Empress Ma, and the two were very affectionate, and the army called Zhu Yuanzhang zhu yuan a Zhu Gongzi.

Guo Zixing has a straightforward personality, but he is indecisive and listens to rumors. With the increase in Zhu Yuanzhang's reputation, it attracted the envy of Guo Tianxu, the son of Guo Zixing. Therefore, Guo Tianxu joined forces with some people to provoke Guo Zixing, making Guo Zixing more and more jealous of Zhu Yuanzhang. Once, Guo Zixing became angry and directly locked up Zhu Kangzhang and did not give him food.

Fortunately, Ma Shi went through it, took the money to please his adoptive mother and Guo Zixing's concubines, and asked them to help say good things, which made Guo Zixing let Zhu Yuanzhang go, and the close relationship between the two was thus bridged a lot.

However, this incident made Zhu Yuanzhang understand that only if he had the strength, he would not be subject to others. So he chose to take dozens of cronies to Dingyuan to develop, and among these cronies were the later famous generals Xu Da, Tang He and others. There were 3,000 local militiamen who were absorbed by Zhu Yuanzhang because of a shortage of food, and later, a rebel army that joined forces with the Yuan army to attack Haozhou was also absorbed by Zhu Yuanzhang, and Zhu Yuanzhang's strength soon grew to more than 20,000 people and occupied Chuzhou (滁州, in modern Chuzhou, Anhui).

Later, Guo Zixing died, and Han Lin'er, the King of Xiaoming, appointed Guo Tianxu as the marshal of the capital, Guo Tianxu's uncle Zhang Tianyou as the right deputy marshal, and Zhu Yuanzhang as the left deputy marshal. Zhu Yuanzhang ranked third, but the soldiers were recruited and trained by Zhu Yuanzhang, so the power actually fell into the hands of Zhu Yuanzhang. Guo Tianxu had tried to assassinate Zhu Yuanzhang, but Zhu Yuanzhang was heavily guarded, so Guo Tianxu and Zhang Tianyou also had no way to take Zhu Yuanzhang.

Although Zhu Yuanzhang held the military power, many soldiers were more convinced of Guo Tianxu, because after all, he was the son of the old leader Guo Zixing. Zhu Yuanzhang felt that the main enemy of the rebel army was the Yuan army, and falling out with Guo Tianxu would only weaken the rebel army and destroy the overall situation of the anti-Yuan army, so he chose to maintain the peace situation.

Later, Guo Tianxu and Zhang Tianyou were betrayed and killed by traitors while fighting against the Yuan army, and Zhu Yuanzhang became a veritable commander of the first army.

Jia Luzhi Yellow River

In 1351, emperor Yuan Shun appointed Jia Lu as the general envoy to control the flooding of the Yellow River.

In 1355, Han Lin'er, with the support of Liu Futong, the leader of the Red Turban Army, proclaimed himself emperor at Bozhou (bozhou in present-day Hao County, Anhui). Han Lin'er, then known as "King Xiaoming", established the Song regime under the banner of reviving the Song Dynasty.

Han Lin'er is the son of Han Shantong, the leader of the Red Turban Army. Han Shantong was once the leader of the White Lotus Sect and planned the anti-Yuan uprising with liu Futong. Before the uprising, the news leaked out, resulting in Han Shantong's arrest and subsequent execution by the Yuan Dynasty.

After Han Shantong's death, Han Lin'er fled with her mother Yang to the Wu'an Mountains (present-day Xuzhou) and hid. Liu Futong returned to Yingzhou (颍州, in present-day Fuyang, Anhui Province) to continue planning the anti-Yuan uprising.

After arriving in Yingzhou, Liu Futong gathered the Red Turban Army and succeeded in one fell swoop.

At the same time as the uprising, Liu Futong also worried about one thing, that is, looking for Han Lin'er. After several twists and turns, he finally found Han Lin'er's mother and son in Zhongshan (砀山, in present-day Suzhou, Anhui).

Earlier, when Liu Futong and Han Shantong planned an uprising, they became famous for their division and packaged themselves as famous courtiers of the Song Dynasty.

Han Shantong claimed to be the eighth grandson of Emperor Huizong of Song, and Liu Futong claimed to be a descendant of the Southern Song general Liu Guangshi. According to this theory, Liu Futong and others should "assist" Han Shantong and revive the Song Dynasty.

Han Shantong died, and his son Han Lin'er was still there. In order to continue this theory and gather popularity, Liu Futong was ready to help Han Lin'er to the throne and let him continue to exert his father's appeal.

In 1355, Han Lin'er, with the support of the Red Turban Army, declared himself emperor in Bozhou. His founding name was Song and "Dragon Phoenix" was the era name.

Although Han Lin'er was the emperor of the Song dynasty, he mostly referred to himself as King Xiaoming. His father, Han Shantong, once claimed that the world was in chaos and that the Ming King was going to be born. King Ming is a bodhisattva in the White Lotus Sect who resembles a "savior".

According to this theory, Han Lin'er implied that his father was the Ming King, and he himself was the Xiaoming King.

After Han Lin'er, the King of Xiaoming, became emperor, he began to arrange official positions for the top level of the Red Turban Army. He first made his mother Yang Shi the empress dowager, du zundao the chancellor, and Liu Futong the official of Pingzhang.

On the surface, Han Lin'er's scenery is infinite; in fact, he does not have real power. The real power is in the hands of Liu Futong.

Han Lin'er did not have any big strategy, but he was not willing to be just a puppet and was very concerned about his own power.

In order to attack and contain Liu Futong, Han Lin'er deliberately favored Du Zundao. Du Zundao was also the elder of the Red Turban Army, who was good at dancing and inking, and was quite talented.

Liu Futong was treated coldly as a result, and his heart became more and more unbalanced. In terms of merit and prestige, his position should be above that of Du Zundao. At this time, Du Zundao was in a high position, and even in front of everyone, he showed an arrogant look.

The more Liu Futong thought about it, the more angry he became, so he secretly ordered the armored soldiers to arrest Du Zundao and secretly kill him. After Du Zundao's death, Liu Futong immediately seized the opportunity to appoint himself chancellor and add the post of "Taibao (Prince Teacher)".

Liu Futong vigorously seized power at home, actively expanded his power externally, and led the Red Turban Army to conquer Bieliang and other places, pushing the uprising to a climax.

In 1358, the Song dynasty moved the capital from Bozhou to Bieliang. When the Yuan government heard about it, it stepped up its efforts to send troops to suppress it.

The following year, the Yuan general Chakhan Timur sent an army straight to Bieliang. After arriving at Bieliang City, the Yuan army immediately surrounded Han Lin'er, Liu Futong, and others.

The army around Han Lin'er went out to fight many times, but they were all beaten back by the Yuan army. Faced with this situation, Liu Futong was impatient. He did not want to sit still, so he led Han Lin'er, escorted by cavalry, from the East Gate to Anfeng (in present-day Dongtai, Jiangsu Province).

After arriving in Anfeng, Han Lin'er and Liu Futong's situation did not improve, but became more unbearable.

In 1363, Zhang Shicheng, the leader of the rebel army in Jiangsu, fell into a well and wanted to take the opportunity to eliminate the Song regime, so he launched an attack on Anfeng.

Zhang Shicheng sent his subordinates to surround Han Lin'er and the others. Han Lin'er had no opinion, and would only stay in the city and cry and cry. Liu Fu informed that this time there were many fierce and fewer evils, and he had to quickly find a way to break the siege.

He thought left and right, thinking of a man. This person's name is Zhu Yuanzhang.

Zhu Yuanzhang once used the banner of the Red Turban Army to lead the army against the Yuan. His rebel forces were nominally under the control of the Song regime. In fact, it is an independent group.

At that time, Liu Futong couldn't manage so much, and could only ask Zhu Yuanzhang for help as soon as possible. After Zhu Yuanzhang received the news, he summoned the strategist Liu Ji to discuss countermeasures to see if he would help or not.

Liu Ji suggested to Zhu Yuanzhang, saying: "We should not act rashly, if they are rescued, then how should we resettle them?" After zhu Yuanzhang listened, he considered it for a moment and said, "If Anfeng City is captured, then Zhang Shicheng's strength will be even stronger." ”

After weighing it up, Zhu Yuanzhang decided to send troops to help. He personally led a large army to Anfeng City to engage Zhang Shicheng's men. Zhang Shicheng's army resisted vigorously, but it was not as strong as Zhu Yuanzhang's army, and finally the army was defeated and retreated.

Han Lin'er and Liu Futong escaped another disaster, and then were taken to Chuzhou by Zhu Yuanzhang. As a result, the Song regime was temporarily preserved. In 1366, Zhu Yuanzhang ordered his subordinates to escort Han Lin'er to respond to Tian. On the way, Han Lin'er overturned the boat and drowned.
