41 years after the release of the first Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harrison Ford has confirmed that he will be waving a whip and wearing a hat to star in the fifth installment of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Disney tweeted on Friday that Raiders of the Lost Ark 5 will be produced by its production arm, Lucasfilm, and released in July 2022. James Mangold, director of Deadly ID and Wolverine 2/3, will succeed Spielberg as director, while "Harrison Ford himself will return to continue his journey of iconic role." ”
