The origin of the village in the Southern Song Dynasty
Southern Song Dynasty, it sounds like a dynasty name! But here is indeed a village name, so big confidence! The secret of why the villagers named a dynasty as the name of the village began with the demise of the Northern Song Dynasty and the establishment of the Southern Song Dynasty.
According to legend, in the last year of the Northern Song Dynasty, the Jin soldiers went south, Lu Dengzhen defended Lu'an Province, and martyred the country; the Jin soldiers broke through the two wolf passes and the Hejian Province, attacked the imperial city of Bieliang, and captured Emperor Huizong of Song, the Second Emperor of Song Qinzong, and three thousand palace women of the chancellor palace to the north, so the incident occurred during the Jing Kang period, and the history is called "the difficulty of Jing Kang".
Later, Yue Fei and Han Shizhong resisted the Jin Dynasty and recovered some of their homeland, the Southern Song Dynasty established the capital of Hangzhou, and after the Shangdang area was invaded by the Jin State, the ancestors did not forget their homeland and swore to be the Song people, and under the situation of hopeless restoration, they named the village name "Song", and to this day, there are still several villages called "Northern Song" and "Southern Song" in Tunliu District and Shangdang District. It shows that the ancestors of the Shangdang do not forget that they are Song Min, do not want to be slaves to the country, swear to die to resist, and are mighty and indomitable.
Jade Emperor Guan Wufeng Building
Located in the Southern Song Dynasty Village, 17 kilometers south of the shangdang District of Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, the Jade Emperor Guan Wufeng Tower was built in the Yuan Dynasty and was repaired during the Wanli Dynasty of the Ming Dynasty, the Qianlong, Jiaqing and Tongzhi Dynasties of the Qing Dynasty.
The Jade Emperor Guan WufengLou leans on the Pigback Mountain to the north, Xiongshan Mountain to the south, and Shenshan Mountain to the west, and a small winding river flows slowly from south to north along the east side of the WufengLou and flows into the Northern Song Reservoir in the north.
The Jade Emperor Temple is built on the terrace, sitting north to south, the viewing gate is the Wufeng Tower, there is a bell and drum tower on each side, after the Wufeng Tower, there are pavilions, platforms, Jade Emperor Halls, East and West Halls, East and West Wing Rooms. The temple is tall, flexible in layout, and simple and majestic.
The Wufeng Building has a total of five floors, which is the gate tower of the Jade Emperor Temple, and the male and female lions live on the left and right, which is mighty and majestic. The gatehouse resembles a square, five-fold eaves, and a porch. Red walls and green tiles, majestic atmosphere. The four-cornered wings fly, and the five phoenixes spread their wings. Thorn beams are rare, and mulberry ladders climb upstairs. Four wooden pillars support the wooden building, and the Bagua Algae Well hangs from the lotus, giving people the enjoyment of beauty, the perception of love, the expression of meaning, and the shock of the heart.
The allusion to the "Five Phoenix Building"
"Yang Wen Gong Tan Yuan" has an allusion to the "Five Phoenix Building": according to legend, the Song Dynasty literati Han Pu and Han Huan were two brothers, and they were both literati, both of whom could recite poems and write gifts, while Huan Chang Qingpu, the language people said: "My brother is a text, such as a rope tied to a grass hut, sheltering from wind and rain." Yu Zhiwen can create the Five Feng Louer. Pu heard his words, because people left Shu notes, composed poems and 洎曰"Ten kinds of barbarian notes out of Yizhou, sent new from Huan Xitou. The elder brother got this all useless, and helped Er Tian to repair the Five Phoenix Building. ”
The noon gate is the main gate of the Forbidden City, and there are five city towers above the noon gate, which resemble the wings of a phoenix, commonly known as the "Five Phoenix Tower". There are five doors at the noon gate, which only the emperor can enter and exit, and there is also a saying of "Five Phoenix Towers" in Peking Opera, which refers to the imperial court.
The legend of the Five Phoenix Tower
According to legend, the Jade Emperor had five beautiful daughters named Jinfeng, Yinfeng, JadeFeng, Caifeng, and Cuifeng. Tired of the life in the heavenly court, come to the human world to relax. When the Jade Emperor found out, he immediately ordered him to return to the Heavenly Palace. The five women resisted the order.
The Jade Emperor became angry and sent orders to the Heavenly Soldiers to force them to return to Heaven. The five sisters would rather die than obey. The Jade Emperor sent the God of Thunder to persecute them with thunder and lightning, and the five sisters, with a lightning bolt and a lightning strike, transformed into a mountain range called Phoenix Mountain. The souls of the five sisters belong to the Phoenix Mountain, the soul of the five phoenixes, the father of the Jade Emperor, and the descendants built the Jade Emperor Temple and the Five Phoenix Tower here in honor of the five sisters.
Wufenglou artistic value
The shape of the carved beams and paintings, the intricate structure, the tall and majestic Wufeng Tower, is one of the only three remaining buildings in the world. One in Japan, built in 1628 AD, is located on the five mountains of Kyoto, known as the "Dragon Gate of the World", the other is in Beijing, and Shanxi Changzhi is the Five Phoenix Tower.
WufengLou is dazzling and graceful, and it can be said that the structure is exquisite and breathtaking. According to the inscription, the Wufeng Tower was rebuilt in 1614 (the 42nd year of the Ming Wanli Calendar); it was rebuilt again in 1643 (the sixteenth year of Ming Chongzhen); it was rebuilt again in 1773 (the 38th year of the Qianlong Dynasty); in 1984, it was restored by the Shanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau and the Shanxi Provincial Institute of Ancient Architecture; in 1986, the Jade Emperor Guan Wufeng Tower was announced by the Shanxi Provincial Government as the second batch of provincial key cultural relics protection units; in 2006, it was selected as the sixth batch of national key cultural protection units.
As a national key cultural relics protection building, the Jade Emperor Guan Wufeng Lou has a high artistic value, it records the architectural techniques of skilled craftsmen, witnesses the evolution process of wooden structure pavilions, reflects the development of architecture in various generations of the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and has joint praise: "Jingmu Liang Mulberry Ladder World Treasure Wonder, Bagua Top Golden Bell Cover Ingenious Craftsmanship".
