Boletus is a collective name for fungi such as boletus and Songta porcini, which are wild and edible mushrooms, of which most varieties can be eaten except for a few varieties that are poisonous or bitter and inedible. There are mainly white, yellow and black porcini mushrooms.

White boletus mushrooms are delicious and nutritious. The fungus is a world-famous edible mushroom with a large body, thick flesh, thick stalk, sweet and delicious food taste, rich in nutrients. Western European countries also have a widespread habit of eating white boletus, in addition to fresh dishes, most of the slices are dried, processed into a variety of small packages, used to prepare soups or make soy sauce extracts, but also made into salt pickles to eat.

White beef liver grows in coniferous forests and mixed forests such as Yunnan pine, alpine pine, hemp oak (so it is also called hemp oak), golden bark oak, qingfeng oak and other coniferous forests and mixed forests, solitary or group- Often forms mycorrhizae with the roots of oak and pine trees. It is produced from June to October, and it is slightly earlier in warm areas and later in warm and cold areas. It is also partially distributed in the Kashgar region.

Porcini mushrooms are distributed throughout Yunnan and the production period is from June to October every year.
