As an elite controller, it has additional side buttons, back buttons, interchangeable joysticks and other advanced functions, and the D-pad and joystick are reversed, which is more in line with the usage habits of most users. And the most important thing for me is its battery life, which can be used for about 28 hours with the lights off, which is 4 or 5 hours longer than the original PS5 controller. Before, when I rushed to the first Isu X, I was speechless by the battery life of the original controller, and I had to plug in the line to play in less than a day.
Phantom Wolf V2 Pro Edition not only uses mechanical micro-motion for most of the buttons, but also uses an eight-way micro-switch for the cross button, and the overall working method is similar to a shorter joystick, which is very beneficial for games that require extremely precise operation.

Most of the parts of the handle body are made of fine frosted surface material, which has a good anti-slip effect and is not easy to get fingerprints and dirt. The two grips are made with a strengthened anti-slip texture, which is extremely stable to hold.
In terms of shoulder buttons, next to the original L1L2R1R2, a custom function key has been added, which is very easy to use. In terms of extra function keys, Razer's Phantom Wolf V2 series is the most comfortable I've used so far.
There are also quite a few functions on the back of the handle. The left and right are the trigger shoulder key limit switches, which are officially named HYPERTRIGGER mode by Razer. As for the two additional shoulder buttons, the design is really exquisite, although it looks like they are next to L1L2, and they will not affect each other at all when actually used. Whether you use the shoulder button with one finger on the index finger, one finger on the middle finger, or two fingers, it is easy to use.
The two additional buttons on the back, the position and angle are also just right, whether you use the little finger plus ring finger, or the ring finger and middle finger, you can easily press it. This is still the best design of the 4 back button elite controller I've ever used.
Get ready to play! The controller comes with a 2.4G receiver, switch to PS5 or PC mode, plug it into the corresponding device, and you can use it. THE HYPERTRIGGER MODE OF THE TRIGGER BUTTON IS NOW AVAILABLE ON MANY CONTROLLERS. When playing racing games, the trigger is used as a throttle and brake, requiring full linear key travel input, and that's when the restrictions need to be released. The shooting mode of Phantom Wolf V2 Pro has extremely short key travel and fast response, which can take a lot of advantage in competitive games.
However, when it comes to competitive games, the Phantom Wolf V2 Pro Edition is not equipped with vibration for the controller in order to ensure that the user is not affected when operating, which needs to be known in advance. However, in terms of other functions, within the scope of the PS5 license, they are all fully given. Another thing I pay attention to is the D-pad (D-pad), although it has gradually degenerated into a functional button such as drinking medicine on the console, I believe that many players are still quite accustomed to using the D-pad to control the direction in some games, just like me. If you're also looking at the PS5 Elite controller, the Phantom Wolf V2 Pro with a battery life of 28 hours, I think it will be more worth buying than the original Edge Elite with a battery life of 4 hours.
