In the rainy season, wild mushrooms from all over Yunnan emerge like "spring shoots", and picking up mushrooms has become a pleasure for many people in their leisure time.
In Yunnan, mushrooms not only grow in the mountains, but even in the garden of the Public Security Bureau! And, it's a giant wild porcini mushroom! From July 1 to 2, in the flower bed of the East County Public Security Bureau in Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, the staff "seized" five large wild porcini mushrooms for two consecutive days.

On the evening of the same day, some workers picked up three large wild porcini mushrooms, and by measuring them with a tape measure and a weigher, the largest one was 40 cm long and wide, and the weight reached 2.49 kg. The next day, the staff found two wild boletus in the flowers, and through actual weighing, the weight exceeded the weight of the largest wild porcini mushroom the day before, reaching 2.8 kg.
So far, Yunnan has recorded more than 1,000 edible wild mushrooms, about 200 kinds of poisonous bacteria, and about 20 kinds of poisoning caused by easy confusion and frequent accidental eating. Experts remind the general public to carefully identify wild mushroom species, try not to pick those who are not sure, and at the same time, eat bacteria scientifically to avoid the occurrence of accidental ingestion of poisonous bacteria.
