A few days ago, some of the exhibits participating in this year's Shanghai Expo were loaded from Auckland Port, the largest port in New Zealand, and set off for Shanghai. The head of COSCO SHIPPING Group (New Zealand) Co., Ltd., which provides exhibit transportation services, said that since the outbreak of the new crown epidemic, port congestion and container backlog have brought great challenges to shipping. In order to ensure the smooth participation of exhibits, the company has identified a number of transportation plans to ensure that the impact of the epidemic is minimized. The exhibits destined for Shanghai include dairy, wine, chocolate and coconut oil, all of which are specialty products from New Zealand and the South Pacific island nation of Vanuatu.
