As a result, this Kuomintang lieutenant general Zhang Huizhan became a famous figure. But the problem is precisely here, Zhang Huizhan has been "living" in this poem since then.
So what kind of person is Zhang Huizhan in history? What happened to him after he was captured alive by the Red Army? Where did his descendants go? Also, is there any follow-up story about this victory against encirclement and suppression?
In the face of this series of problems, I am afraid that many people know less.
Born in 1885, Zhang Huizhen was a native of Hunan, graduated from the Baoding Military Academy, and was also a classmate of Chiang Kai-shek and Bai Chongxi. Later, he went to the Japanese Non-Commissioned Officer School and studied in Germany for 4 years. The most valuable thing is that Zhang Huizhan can also write poetry and writes quite well.
Therefore, it seems correct to use "all-rounder of literature and martial arts" to describe him! Probably because of this, it led to Zhang Huizhan's personality problems. According to Zhang Huizhan's subordinates, his maternal nephew Niu Yaohua, then the commander of the 54th Brigade, Zhang Huizhan was arrogant and subjective, very arbitrary, and extremely difficult to work with people. Therefore, many of his men respected him and stayed away.
This situation of isolation and self-isolation led to the fact that although he had learned a lot of military knowledge and was still a very advanced theory at that time, he could not understand it at all, and would only implement it mechanically, let alone leave its essence in its dross.
For example, when he led a large army to encircle and suppress the Red Army, he rigidly applied Western military theory, which was summed up as "at any means and cost to eliminate the opponent, and there is no justice or injustice." So he gave a cruel order: the stone should be knifed, and the bench should be burned. Men and women over the age of 10 within 40 miles are not allowed to shoot and kill.
This can be described as a proper "three-light policy", but Zhang Huizhan has used it on his own countrymen. Therefore, after Zhang Huizhan was captured, although both Chairman Mao and Zhu De ordered not to be killed, they could not prevent the outbreak of fierce public anger, and during the public trial, they were killed by the angry people.
In this regard, Zhu De, who also studied in Germany, once pointed out to the point: he (Zhang Huizhen) studied in Germany and eventually brought himself the disaster of killing.
Although Zhang Huizhan did evil, his descendants made outstanding contributions to the new China. For example, his son, Mr. Zhang Yuanmou, studied in the United States to obtain a master's degree. After the founding of New China, he resolutely chose to return to China and served as a professor at Tianjin University, cultivating a large number of talents for New China! His daughter, Ms. Zhang Yuanyi, later married an underground party member of ours.
At the same time, I am afraid that what everyone cannot imagine is that in Zhang Huizhan's follow-up story, the most wonderful thing is that he "sent" a founding lieutenant general of New China, who is General Wang Zheng.
Second, from prisoners of war to clairvoyance, tailwind ears
Wang Zheng's original name was Wu Renjian, and he was the founding lieutenant general of New China! Graduated from Huangpu Phase VI, he is a classmate of Dai Kasa! It's just that Wang Zheng learned to communicate. After graduation, he served as a radio operator of the Kuomintang, and later entered the 18th Division of the Kuomintang 9th Army, and the commander of the division was Zhang Huizhen!
At that time, radio communications could be described as high-tech, and Zhou Enlai had long recognized the necessity of this means of communication. So in 1928, he selected talents in Shanghai and cultivated his own radio communication talents, but unfortunately he could not take on the heavy responsibility of liaison or said that the technology was not up to standard.
Chairman Mao, who was far away in the Soviet zone, was also very eager for such talents, and once sent a telegram to the Central Committee in Shanghai, asking for radio communications talents to be sent to the Soviet zone. Unfortunately, this requires equipment and talents. Equipment can be bought in any way, but what about talent? The matter had to be shelved.
Just when Chairman Mao was worried about this, Zhang Huizhan led the 18th Division to come, defeated, and captured! Although Zhang Huizhen was killed by angry people, among the prisoners, he found Wang Zheng, who was a lieutenant reporter at the time, and his student Liu Yin and 10 other radio personnel.
According to the recollection of general Liu Yin's son, Wang Zheng and 10 other people were arranged in a room next to the Red Army General Headquarters, and from then on, until the third encirclement and suppression, Wang Zheng and others had been with the Red Army General Headquarters.
So why did Wang Zheng and others appear next to Chairman Mao and Zhu De? One is that the Red Army urgently needs radio personnel. The second is that Wang Zheng and others have been provoked and disappointed by the inhumane "Three Lights Policy" implemented by Zhang Huizhan.
After all, Wang Zheng was admitted to the Whampoa Military Academy with the heart of saving the country--where is his own army, and the reason for so cruel to his own people? Worse than bandits! Therefore, after he was captured, he offered to join the Red Army!
Therefore, four days later, Chairman Mao and Zhu De received Wang Zheng and others. Chairman Mao was very pleased, first extended a warm welcome, and then expounded what kind of contingent the Red Army was, in short, an armed force that would fight for the people and let them live a good life.
Zhu De was very direct, saying: "You should first get the work done, no matter how big or small the weapons and equipment, the White Army will have it, the Red Army will also have it, even if there is no enemy, it will be 'sent' to us!" ”
In this way, Wang Zheng joined the Red Army, and soon learned a bad news, because our Red Army soldiers did not know what the radio was, and their radio was damaged, and now they can only receive, can not send reports, which is equivalent to half of the radio.
Wang Zheng was helpless. When Chairman Mao learned of this, he immediately ordered: If they fight the enemy again in the future, all troops must keep the captured wireless rooftops and captured radio personnel and send them to the headquarters for disposal! But what everyone did not expect was that it was precisely by relying on this "half of the radio" that Wang Zheng made a great contribution in the second anti-encirclement and suppression war that followed!
In the second anti-encirclement and suppression campaign, the Kuomintang, which had suffered heavy losses, adopted new tactics and adopted group advances. In the face of this situation, Chairman Mao and Zhu De both frowned, and now they have been circling with the enemy for more than forty days, but they still have no countermeasures, and their own room for maneuver has been compressed more and more.
At this moment, Wang Zheng relied on the half of the radio and suddenly received a message from the enemy soldiers. It was the evening of May 15, and Wang Zheng heard the Kuomintang 28th Division on the radio, and he had a clear call with the remaining office: We (the 28th Division) are now stationed in Tomita, and we will leave tomorrow morning and drive to Donggu!
Wang Zheng immediately sent this information, and Chairman Mao and Zhu De were overjoyed, and they quickly adjusted their deployment, concentrated their superior forces, and set up an ambush circle at the necessary place of the enemy's 28th Division. On May 16, the enemy was completely annihilated in one fell swoop. Then, after 15 consecutive days of fighting, sweeping more than 700 miles, the enemy's second encirclement and suppression ended in a fiasco!
At the meeting to celebrate the victory, Chairman Mao invited Wang Zheng to the rostrum and loudly announced: "We, the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, also have clairvoyant ears, and this is a great magic weapon for defeating the enemy and winning victory!" ”
Three, two sad things in the Long March
In response to Zhu De's words, as the Red Army continued to win battles, the radio was continuously sent by the enemy. Wang Zheng was "wide", not only had a radio station of various powers, but also trained by him, and the Red Army also had a radio team. So-called, all radio personnel of the Red Army are their apprentices.
Just when Wang Zheng was overjoyed, bad news kept coming, first Chairman Mao stepped aside, followed by the strategic shift of the Central Soviet Region, and the Long March began.
After killing the enemy's third blockade line, Wang Zheng finally got the good news that all his "weapons" were transported out intact. Wang Zheng was so happy to touch these treasures, but at this moment, a new news came, ordering everyone to "throw away the altar jars" and move forward lightly!
Wang Zheng is stupid? throw? It's all my destiny. Wang Zheng was tangled, Ye Jianying came, and he knew that Wang Zheng was reluctant to do so. Wang Zheng saw this and had to obey, but still played a "slippery head" and retained an additional 100-watt high-power radio.
But somehow, this news reached Wang Shoudao's ears again, and he hurriedly rushed to the ground and angrily said, "If you don't throw it, we will go underground!" ”
Wang Zheng argued that this high-powered radio station was responsible for receiving messages from the Comintern. The subtext is, I'm going to keep it. So the two began to raise the bar, and finally Wang Zheng gave an anxious eye and roared: "I want to ask Commander-in-Chief Zhu!" ”
Then he grabbed the phone and asked Jude. As a result, Judd gave him a word: "Throw! Then hang up the phone.
Wang Shoudao naturally understood Wang Zheng's mood at this moment, and comforted: "Don't we still have a few small 15-watt radio stations, easy to carry, enough!" So throwing away this high-power radio became one of Wang Zheng's sad things in the Long March.
Wang Zheng then followed the central authorities and drove into the vicinity of the Jinsha River, where he was bombarded by enemy aircraft, and his radio team (the third bureau) was also blown up. But when the political commissar counted the number of people, he suddenly found that it was broken, and Wang Zheng was gone.
The commissar immediately asked him to go back and look for him, but he was nowhere to be found. So he hurriedly reported it to Zhou Enlai. Suddenly, Premier Zhou also became nervous and issued a death order to the political commissar: Immediately go to find it again, live to see people, die to see corpses! But the result was still nothing found.
In desperation, the political commissar had to report to Zhou Enlai again, and was preparing to be criticized, but Zhou Enlai's laughter came and said, I was about to tell you, Wang Zheng found it!
It turned out that when the enemy planes bombed, Wang Zheng was blown unconscious, and when he woke up, he found that he had fallen behind, so he marched alone for a night, which caught up with the First Army and the First Division. This incident became Wang Zheng's second sad thing: he did not expect that because of his "disappearance", there was such a big movement, that even Zhou Enlai was anxious.
Fourth, the roar of the radio
After the Zunyi Conference, Chairman Mao returned to the Central Committee and finally led the Red Army to join Zhang Guotao's Red Fourth Front. However, at this moment, Zhang Guotao had ambitions, and had no choice but to lead the Central Red Army to the north alone. Zhang Guotao soon followed suit.
In this case, He Long and Ren Bi did not know at all, and still used the radio to call the central authorities. Finally, on September 29, He Long's department contacted the "Central Committee". The excited He Long and Ren Bi were choking enough, but they didn't know that this was Zhang Guotao's pseudo-center. So Zhang Guotao assumed the name of the Central Military Commission and began to issue instructions to the Second and Sixth Armies.
Almost at the same time, they had reached the center of Shaanxi, and when they contacted He Long and Ren Bi, they were also allowed to quickly move north. However, the passwords of the Red Second and Sixth Armies now fell into Zhang Guotao's hands.
At about 12:00 p.m. on January 27, 1936, just as He Long and Zhang Guotao were receiving telegrams, Wang Zheng's radio station captured this signal.
Wang Zheng was overjoyed, and he rushed to personally get on the plane and called the He Long Legion Radio station with a clear code, and the He Long Radio could not feel his head, and immediately asked back: What station are you?
While continuing to make contact, Wang Zheng ordered people to quickly inform the central authorities: He Long's department had been found. Zhou Enlai personally drew up a clear-code telegram for Wang To send, which read as follows:
Brother Bi: We have gone to northern Shaanxi to security, and Haomi has stayed around... Brother Howe.
Among them, "Brother Bi" is Ren Bishi, while "Haomi" is the telegram code of the Second and Sixth Armies, "Old Fourth" refers to Zhang Guotao's Red Fourth Front, and "Brother Hao" is Zhou Enlai.
This means that when Ren Bi was informed, when the Central Red Army went north independently, due to the urgency of the situation, the passwords and so on were left in Zhang Guotao's hands, and we were the real central committee!
Ke He Long and Ren Bishi didn't know these things at all, and they were still very strange, why did two centers appear? It's not a joke. In case one of them is an enemy impersonation, that would be a bad thing. Therefore, Ren Bishi ordered the radio station: We must find out which radio station represents the central authorities?
And so, the two sides started on the radio that you asked me to answer.
The radio stations of the Second and Sixth Armies led by He Long asked: What was the radio station that contacted us before?
Wang Yi personally informed that it was a radio station of the Red Fourth Front.
But the radio stations of the Second and Sixth Armies then questioned: Why do they always contact us on behalf of the "Central Committee"?
At that time, Zhang Guotao engaged in splittism, which was not made public at all, and it was still confidential, which obviously could not be said. But if you don't say it, how can you prove yourself? At the same time, the radio stations of the Second and Sixth Legions just grasped this problem and demanded that an explanation must be given!
Finally, Wang Yi was asked to be anxious, and he could no longer take care of much. He took off the headphones he was wearing, threw them on the table, and shouted at the other person, "Do you know me?" Wang Yi, Wang Yi of the Third Bureau of the Central Military Commission, you will contact me, if there is a mistake, in the future you will propose to the Party Central Committee to kill my head, and I will use my head as a guarantee, this is always OKAY, right? (Radio can be telegraphed and called)
As mentioned above, all the radio operators of the Red Army can be called "disciples" of Wang Zheng. They hurriedly reported to He Long and Ren Bishi!
He Long and Ren Bi naturally knew Wang Zheng and knew what his tasks and responsibilities were, so they would surely follow the real central government. Now that we are convinced that the other party is Wang Zheng, then naturally this radio station must be central.
In this way, Zhang Guotao's conspiracy was drunk by Wang Zheng's roar on the radio! Subsequently, he Long led his troops to join the Red Fourth Front, and met with Zhu De and Liu Bocheng, and in order to avoid the division of the Red Army, He Long said to Zhang Guotao: "Guotao, only talk about unity, not about splitting." Otherwise, beware of Lao Tzu hitting your black gun. ”
Therefore, General Wang Zheng received Chairman Mao's appraisal: Comrade Wang Zheng is meritorious and he is the founder of the communications work of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
