Biography

Ren Bishi (April 30, 1904 – October 27, 1950), formerly known as Ren Peiguo, was a native of Miluo, Hunan, a great Marxist, an outstanding proletarian revolutionary, statesman, and organizer, an outstanding leader of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and an important member of the first generation of the Central Leadership Collective of the Communist Party of China with Comrade Mao Zedong as the core.

In the spring of 1921, Ren Bishi went to Soviet Russia with Liu Shaoqi and others to study.

In March 1943, together with Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi and Zhu De, he formed the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China headed by Mao Zedong.

He died in Beijing on October 27, 1950, at the age of 47.

Be righteous

When the Kuomintang broke up in 1928 and the traitor betrayed Ren Bi, he was arrested and imprisoned by the Kuomintang.

In order not to expose the Communist Party, Ren Bishi was ready to sacrifice at any time.

Thankfully, this traitor had not met Ren Bishi, and the Kuomintang had only heard of Ren Bishi's name.

In prison, the Kuomintang said viciously: "What do you do?" What exactly do you want to do here? Hurry up and be honest, or you will look good! ”

Ren Bishi's eyes rolled and he immediately understood that the Kuomintang was not sure of his identity. At this time, he knew that he absolutely could not reveal his identity.

He immediately thought of a set of words to deal with, "My name is Hu Shaopu, A Hunan native, who came here to do business." ”

Then he pretended to be aggrieved and said, "What the hell am I doing wrong?" Why did you arrest me? I'm going to do business!" ”

When the Kuomintang heard about it, it thought that it had arrested the wrong person, but it was based on the principle that it would rather kill a hundred by mistake than spare one.

The Kuomintang still tortured Ren Bishi, and the tiger stool and pepper water all greeted him.

Ren Bishi resisted with his tenacious will and never confided a single message of the Communist Party.

Seeing that the Kuomintang could not find any information, it transferred Ren Bishi to other places and continued to be strictly interrogated.

Rescued by the central government during the transfer.

In 1929, ren was imprisoned again for betrayal by traitors.

This time, the Kuomintang had already determined that he was the Communist Party, and its methods against him were even more cruel.

In order to get the news as soon as possible, the Kuomintang moved out of the electric chair and prepared to give Ren Bi a hard look.

Turning on the switch, the high-powered current made a noise, and in no time it took a moment to electrocute Ren Bishi's back with two fist-like holes, and large streams of blood flowed out.

Ren Bishi still gritted his teeth and insisted that he was just an implicated businessman.

Fortunately, this time, Premier Zhou rescued people in time, and Ren Bishi did not die tragically in prison.

Camel within the party

Two near-death experiences had severely damaged his physical functioning, which also led to his failure to climb the Tiananmen Tower and participate in the founding ceremony.

On this day of national celebration, he and his wife Chen Chunying, who lived in a nursing home, could only snuggle up to each other and listen to the radio.

But when Ren Bi heard Chairman Mao's words, "I declare that the Chinese people have stood up," he cried like a child who had found a home in an instant.

When his condition improved slightly, Ren Bishi immediately threw himself into work, and in line with the principle of "if you can insist on walking a hundred steps, you should not take ninety-nine steps", he left behind the two-hour working time prescribed by the doctor.

One year after the founding of New China, on October 27, 1950, he unfortunately died of illness.

In order to Chinese people's revolutionary cause, he truly bowed down and died.

Marshal Ye Jianying once said of Ren Bi: "He is the camel of our party, the camel of the Chinese people, shouldering a heavy burden, walking a long and arduous road, without rest, without enjoyment, without any personal calculations. ”

Not only him, but everyone who accompanied the Communist Party through that arduous time was our good predecessor, and it was precisely because they did not abandon or give up, and swore to die with the Party, that the Communist Party could persist and build our new China.

Here, Jing Xian Song pays tribute to Secretary Ren Bishi, and also to countless heroes who have dedicated their lives to the construction of new China, and China is strong because of you.
