94 years ago today was April 28, 1927, a sad day in the history of the Party, when Mr. Li Dazhao, the pioneer of the Chinese revolution, was brutally murdered by the enemy in prison at the age of 38. His death was a tragic loss to the Chinese revolution.
"Personnel have metabolism, and exchanges have become ancient and modern." Although Li Dazhao sacrificed, he left a rich revolutionary legacy and spiritual wealth, and the clean and upright family style he created lasted for 100 years and was passed down for three generations.

Li Dazhao
Li Dazhao's life has always been very simple during his lifetime, but he can live a good life, his salary was 140 yuan when he was the director of the Peking University Library, and later he rose to 200 yuan as a professor, plus he took part-time classes at other universities, and his monthly income was at least 250 yuan to 300 yuan.
But Li Dazhao has always been charitable, as long as there are poor students who open their mouths to him, he will lose money in righteousness, and his workers have a lot of friends, and he will often help them. In 1921, after the establishment of the Beijing branch of the Communist Party of China, Li Dazhao also took 80 yuan of ocean from his salary every month as the organization's activity funds. Therefore, whenever it came time to pay wages, Li Dazhao would receive back an IOU.
Later, in order not to let the Li family cut off the cooking, Cai Yuanpei, the president of Peking University, had to instruct the accounting department to take 50 yuan of ocean from Li Dazhao's salary every month and give it directly to Li Dazhao's wife, Zhao Shulan.
Zhao Shulan
It is precisely because Li Dazhao is not selfish and specializes in self-interest, he has not accumulated any family property, and after the sacrifice, the family's property is only 1 ocean. Since there was no money for burial, Zhao Hadlan had to raise donations from the public to Li Dazhao to raise funeral expenses.
Li Dazhao's noble qualities before his death have touched countless people, so everyone has donated generously, even Wang Jingwei, who disagrees with his political views, has donated 1,000 oceans.
Li Dazhao and his wife Zhao Shulan had a total of 3 sons and 2 daughters: the eldest son Li Baohua, the eldest daughter Li Xinghua, the second daughter Li Yanhua, the second son Li Guanghua, and the third son Li Xinhua. Inspired by their father's revolutionary spirit, they all joined the revolutionary cause and joined the Communist Party of China, making their own contributions in different posts.
Among these 5 children, the most famous is the eldest son, Li Baohua.
Born in 1909, at the age of 16, He embarked on the revolutionary path under the influence of his father and joined the Chinese Communist Youth League at the end of that year. After Li Dazhao was killed, he traveled east to Japan to study under the protection of his father's good friends, and joined the Communist Party of China in Tokyo in 1931, where he served as secretary of the Tokyo Special Branch of the Communist Party of China.
Young Li Baohua
After the "9/18 Incident," Li Baohua returned to China and led the masses of the people in waging an extremely arduous struggle against the enemy. In 1936, at the age of 27, he became the secretary of the Beiping Municipal Party Committee, the youngest secretary of the Beiping Municipal Party Committee in the history of the Communist Party of China. At the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 1945, he was elected as the youngest alternate member of the Central Committee.
After the founding of New China, Li Baohua successively served as secretary of the party leading group of the Ministry of Water Resources and first secretary of the Anhui Provincial CPC Committee, and although he was a senior cadre of the party and the people, he always maintained a clean and pragmatic work style.
When Li Baohua was the secretary of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee, the first thing he did after taking office was to check the grain supply quotas of urban residents. He borrowed a grain book and went to a grain store to buy grain himself. The salesman gave him 3 pounds of rice and 7 pounds of dried sweet potatoes. Li Baohua said: "No, the state regulation is 7 kilograms of rice and 3 kilograms of dried sweet potatoes per person per month. The salesman said, "It was up there that made us sell that." The two argued. The grain store called the police station, and the public security officer came over and took Li Baohua away because he did not know him.
Later, the problem became clear, the problem of food supply quotas was solved, and the story of the secretary of the provincial party committee's micro-service private visit was also circulated in the society. Li Baohua said: "I have not engaged in any 'micro-service private visits', and it is not a big deal to go down." ”
After Li Baohua left the holiday, he has been living in an old house in the 70s, the home is also very simple, there is almost no decent furniture, and the sofa in the living room is a pit as soon as he sits down. In 2000, the relevant departments wanted to change him to a new house, but he said: "I am used to living, I am older, and I am not adjusted." ”
In his later years, Li Baohua
On February 19, 2005, Li Baohua died in Beijing at the age of 96. After his death, a reporter interviewed his son Li Hongta: "How much inheritance has your father left for you?" Li Hongta said: "We don't need any inheritance, Li Dazhao's descendants have a spiritual heritage." ”
Li Hongta is right to say that Li Baohua attaches great importance to the education of several children, he does not have any rules and regulations for his children, but more is to teach by example, often using the deeds of his father Li Dazhao to educate them, so that they have set up lofty ideals from an early age and have continuously learned and progressed.
Li Baohua had 3 children: Li Qing, Li Lequn, and Li Hongta, all three of whom had successful careers, but none of them had a large sum of money, of which Li Qing had served as vice chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Li Hongta had served as vice chairman of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, both of whom were famous Qing officials.
Li Qing once recalled two things: In 1994, his father Li Baohua went to Hangzhou for a meeting, and just as the secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee was also there, he reported to him that Li Qing's work was very good, but Li Baohua immediately said to him: "You must be strict with him!" ”
Li Qing
Another thing is that in 1995, when Li Qing was studying at the Central Party School, he returned home to visit his father on the weekend, and the school was far from home, but Li Baohua never let his driver pick him up, so Li Qing, who was in his 50s, could only ride home on a bicycle for more than an hour.
Another son, Li Hongta, also inherited his father's thrifty and pragmatic style, when he held a leadership position in Anhui, he never took the unit's car to commute to work, but rode his own bicycle, in more than 20 years, he rode 4 bicycles, wore 5 raincoats, 7 pairs of rubber shoes.
At that time, some people questioned Li Hongta's show, but he laughed: "According to the regulations, you should sit down, turnips and cabbage, each has his own love." I also have a personal hobby of cycling, so I can exercise! Get used to it, can't change it. ”
Li Hongta
When Li Hongta was the deputy director of the Department of Civil Affairs of Anhui Province, he presided over the division of houses four times, and he divided a total of nearly 200 houses through his hands, but he never gave himself a set, he has been living with his family in an old house of 60 square meters, according to his level should have been assigned to a new house, but he always gave way. For this reason, his wife had complained about him, and colleagues were also unfair to him, and finally after the province learned about the situation, they added a small suite of 20 square meters to him, and his son, who was studying for graduate school, had his own small room.
However, in June 2005, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection received a steady stream of whistleblower letters, all of which reported and exposed Li Hongta's use of his position to suspect corruption and bribery, and the unknown source of huge amounts of assets. The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection attached great importance to it and specially sent an investigation team to Anhui to investigate; after investigation, they found out that these reports were purely false accusations, and they were also touched by Li Hongta's deeds.
After the investigators returned to Beijing to report, their superiors immediately instructed Li Hongta to be used as a typical propaganda, so the China Discipline Inspection and Supervision Daily devoted a full-page report on Li Hongta's glorious deeds on July 3, 2005.
Li Hongta's son, Li Rougang, also inherited the legacy of his great-grandfather Li Dazhao, who chose to join the army and is now the director of the teaching and research office of a military academy, cultivating talents for national defense and the army on a three-foot podium. During the dangerous situation of the Yangtze River last summer, he also took the initiative to rush to the front line and participated in the anti-flood and rescue mission.
Li Rougang
Although Li Dazhao's descendants are not as magnificent and brilliant as him, they have inherited his legacy, do not pursue power and fame and fortune, behave innocently, live simply and honestly, and work in a down-to-earth manner, which is the best continuation of Li Dazhao's spirit and demeanor!
