During curfew periods, all activities are suspended except for anti-epidemic and emergency medical services.

According to the analysis of the Vietnam News Agency, the main reasons for the fourth round of the epidemic in Vietnam are: in the early stage of the outbreak of the epidemic in various places, the national nucleic acid testing was not carried out in time; the air exchanges with India were not cut off in time, and many confirmed cases were related to the epidemic in India; the vaccination was not efficient enough, the vaccination rate was less than 5%; the vaccine shortage was scarce and procurement was difficult.

According to the statistics of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam, as of 6 o'clock on the 26th, more than 4.61 million doses of the new crown vaccine have been vaccinated in Vietnam, and about 335,000 people have been vaccinated. According to the "Vietnam Express" reported on the 25th, Vietnamese Health Minister Nguyen Thien Thien revealed on the same day that Vietnam has reached a new crown vaccine technology transfer agreement with the United States, and a factory with an annual output of 200 million doses of vaccine is under construction and is expected to be put into operation in the first half of next year.

According to the Vietnam Express Network reported on the 26th, the Vietnam People's Army's anti-chemical warfare units have carried out city-wide environmental disinfection in Hanoi from the same day. The Hanoi Municipal Government issued a notice on the 23rd that from 6 o'clock on the 24th, a 15-day "lockdown" would be implemented. The circular requires that the number of people gathering in public places shall not exceed 2 people; except for special circumstances such as the purchase of daily necessities, citizens are not allowed to go out; and all public transportation is suspended. The Global Times reporter noted that after the "lockdown order" took effect in Hanoi City, the streets became deserted overnight. Work from home, including government agencies, except for urgent official duties. The Government is also stationing military police and security personnel 24 hours a day in areas where confirmed cases have occurred.
