It is not easy to record the giant panda entity in a complex wild environment, and it is even more difficult to shoot a wild giant panda courtship fight video with the lens.

On October 26, Red Star News reporters learned from the Tangjiahe Park of the Giant Panda National Park that the documentary "Charming Tangjiahe • Mysterious Giant Panda" was officially released recently, recording the precious images of wild pandas pursuing love with the lens.

In order to fully grasp the courtship methods and breeding rules of wild giant pandas and obtain their behavior image data, Tangjiahe Park of Giant Panda National Park organized the implementation of a survey of wild breeding behavior of giant pandas at the end of February 2021. After analyzing and studying the results of infrared camera monitoring, ecological monitoring, key area survey, and giant panda population DNA file establishment project in the reserve in the past three years, the area where traces of wild giant pandas have been continuously recorded in the past three years has been designated as a key monitoring area, the number of infrared cameras has been increased in the key monitoring area, and three field investigation teams have been formed on the basis of the three protection stations of Skyscraper Ridge, Baixiongping and Baiguoping. The installation of the infrared camera was completed in early March, and from the middle of March, squatting surveys were conducted in the demarcated key areas.
After a month of continuous squatting, the cumulative investment of more than 260 person-times, more than 3400 hours, successfully filmed the giant panda courtship fight video, of which the White Bear Ping Protection Station infrared camera captured the giant panda entity 7 times, the SLR camera shot the giant panda 1 time; the Baiguoping Protection Station infrared camera shot the giant panda entity 5 times, the SLR camera shot the giant panda courtship video 5 times; the infrared camera of the Skyscraper Protection Station captured the giant panda entity 8 times, and the SLR camera shot 7 giant panda courtship videos.
