Since the beginning of this year, the Martyrs' Remains Search and Appraisal Center of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and relevant departments of the army have made unremitting efforts to solve a series of technical problems, and once again determined the identity and kinship of the four martyrs, Liang Baiyou, Zhan Zhizhong, Wu Xiongkui, and Lin Shuishi, among the remains of the seventh batch of volunteer martyrs.

According to reports, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs has established a DNA database of martyrs' remains for 1-7 batches of martyrs who have all returned to Korea for burial. In the future, we will establish a family information database for more than 20,000 volunteer martyrs who died in Korea, and carry out DNA information collection of relatives of volunteer martyrs in Korea in stages and batches.

After the completion of the DNA database of the relatives of the martyrs, every year when China and South Korea hand over the remains of the martyrs of the Volunteer Army, they can be compared with the DNA information database of the remains of the martyrs of the Korean Volunteer Army at any time, so that as many unknown martyrs as possible can become "famous".
