Members of the bank's party committee, senior managers, secretaries of party branches, commended personnel, and representatives of old party members who have been "glorious in the party for 50 years" attended the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, all the staff sang the national anthem. At the party building work meeting, Kong Lingguo, secretary of the party committee and president of the bank, made a report on party building work. The report comprehensively reviews the party building work in 2020, analyzes and points out the shortcomings and problems in the party building work, and deploys the next stage of work. Subsequently, a commendation meeting was held for the whole bank to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party. Kong Lingguo, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Bank, delivered a speech on behalf of the Party Committee of the Branch. Kong Lingguo extended festive greetings to the vast number of party members of the bank, expressed warm congratulations to the veteran party members who were awarded the commemorative medal and the commended comrades, and expressed heartfelt thanks and high respect to the old comrades for their contributions to the cause of the party and the BOC. With the warm applause of all the participants, representatives of veteran party members entered the venue. Comrade Li Chen, member of the Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, delivered a speech in which he pointed out that the ceremony for awarding the commemorative medal of "50 Years of Glory in the Party" is not only a warm congratulations to the great CPC on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, but also a collective tribute and highest praise to the veteran party members of the whole bank, and even more a profound education in party spirit for the vast number of party members of the whole bank.
