At No. 218 Xinchuan Road, Chuansha Town, Pudong New Area, there is a typical Jiangnan official eunuch mansion, and the frieze is "Neishidi". This was built by Shen Shuyong, an epigrapher, a connoisseur of calligraphy and painting, and a collector of cultural relics and books, and was originally known as the Shen Family Compound. In the ninth year of Qing Xianfeng (1859), Shen Shuyong was raised to the cabinet, and the Shen family compound was renamed "Neishidi". It is also a rare Jiangnan folk house where celebrities gather in China. Song Qingling, Song Ziwen, Song Meiling, etc. were born here. Modern and contemporary celebrities such as the famous scholar Hu Shi also lived here. On October 1, 1878, Huang Yanpei was born here. Therefore, there are many aliases here, shen family compound, neishidi, Song family residence memorial site, Huang Yanpei former residence, etc., is a cultural relics protection unit in Shanghai.
Huang Yanpei is a modern Chinese patriot and democratic educator. In 1899, he passed the first examination for Hideyoshi in Matsue Province at that time. In 1901, he was admitted to Nanyang College (now Shanghai Jiao Tong University), where Cai Yuanpei was his Chinese teacher. In 1902, he took the Jiangnan Township Examination and won the prize. He founded the Zhonghua Vocational School and participated in the organization of Nanjing Higher Normal School, Hohai Engineering College (now Hohai University), National Southeast University (now Nanjing University), Shanghai University of Commerce (now Shanghai University of Finance and Economics), Xiamen University and other universities. In 1905, he joined the League founded by Sun Yat-sen and was the initiator of the China Democratic Construction Association. After the founding of New China, Huang Yanpei broke his oath of "not being an official" and accepted Mao Zedong's invitation to serve as vice premier of the State Council and minister of light industry.
Mao Zedong and Huang Yanpei exchanged more than 100 letters in their lifetimes. In the century-old history of the Communist Party of China, there was a famous "cave pair" that happened to Mao Zedong and Huang Yanpei.
At the beginning of July 1945, just after the conclusion of the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Huang Yanpei, Zhang Bojun, Fu Sinian, Zuo Shunsheng, Chu Fucheng, Leng Tong and other six democrats visited Yan'an. Mao Zedong personally went to the airport to greet them. During the five-day inspection in Yan'an, Mao Zedong and Huang Yanpei and others held a total of 3 in-depth talks.
When Mao Zedong asked Huang Yanpei what he thought of this trip to Yan'an, Huang Yanpei said the following passage: I have been born for more than sixty years, I have not heard anything, and what I have seen with my own eyes is really the so-called "prosperity is also bold" and "its death is also sudden", a person, a family, a group, a locality and even a country, many units have not been able to jump out of the dominance of this cyclical rate. In the early days of the founding, dafan was concentrated on doing things, and there was no one who did not care about anything, and no one did not work hard. Maybe it was hard and difficult at that time, and the only way to find a life from death was to find a lifetime. As the environment gradually improves, the spirit gradually lets go. Some of them, because they last for a long time, naturally have inert attacks, from the minority to the majority, to the cultivation of the atmosphere, although powerful, can not be reversed, and can not be remedied. ...... In a history, there are also those who "slack off in politics", there are also those who "die in government", and there are also those who "seek glory and humiliation", in short, they have not been able to jump out of this cyclical rate. He hopes that the Chinese Communist Party will find a new way to get out of the cycle rate.
After listening to Huang Yanpei's insights, Mao Zedong thought for a while, and then said: "We have found a new way, we can jump out of this cycle rate." This new road is democracy, and only by allowing the people to supervise the government can the government dare not slacken off. Only when everyone rises up and takes responsibility will no one die in politics. Huang Yanpei said, "That's right. "Only when the general policy is decided on the public can personal merit not occur." Only by making the affairs of every place public to the people of every place can we make the land and the land rich and the people. ”
The "cave pair" can be compared with the famous "Longzhong pair". Its core idea is how to jump out of the question of historical cycle rates. The so-called historical cycle rate refers to the summary and summarization of the historical life cycle phenomenon repeatedly manifested by countless political regimes in ancient and modern times, from rise to fall, from existence to death, and its essence is a cyclical phenomenon of political rise and fall.
The question of the historical cycle rate raised by the "cave pair" caused Mao Zedong and other Chinese Communists to think deeply and take various measures to try to explore and practice the historical cycle rate. In March 1949, at the Second Plenary Session of the Seventh Central Committee, Mao Zedong stressed that "we must continue to maintain the style of modesty, prudence, non-arrogance and impatience, and we must continue to maintain the style of arduous struggle." After the founding of New China, Mao Zedong and others attached great importance to the comrades of the whole party, especially the party's leading cadres, in inheriting and carrying forward the party's fine traditions, adhering to the party's mass line, resolutely opposing subjectivism and bureaucracy, and vigorously strengthening supervision within the party, democratic parties, and the masses. Under the new situation of reform and opening up, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao, and other party and state leaders have made unremitting explorations in many aspects, such as party building, punishing corruption, maintaining the party's advanced nature and purity, strengthening the party's ties with the masses, and consolidating the party's ruling position.
Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has vigorously promoted the comprehensive and strict management of the party, put political construction in the first place, vigorously strengthened the party's ideal and belief education, worked hard to inherit the red gene, led the whole party to fight corruption with an iron fist, and achieved an overwhelming victory, the party style and government style have improved significantly, and the relationship between the party and the masses and between cadres and the masses has been greatly improved. In the report of the Nineteenth National Congress, General Secretary Xi Jinping mentioned the problem of historical cycle rate, "Only with the tenacity and persistence of fighting corruption forever on the road, deepening the treatment of both symptoms and root causes, and ensuring that cadres are upright, the government is clean, and the politics are clear, can we jump out of the historical cycle rate and ensure the long-term peace and stability of the party and the country." ”
The CPC must unite and lead the people of all nationalities throughout the country to strive to achieve the centennial goal of building a socialist modern power, and must not forget its original intention, keep its mission firmly in mind, and strive forever, so as to finally jump out of the historical cycle rate and avoid the consequences of the death of the people and the death of the government.
