Dawa, who graduated from the Agricultural Mechanization School in Heilongjiang Province, is a post-80s generation. "Even if the snow doesn't seal the mountain, it will take the masses here two or three days to go to the county seat, which is very inconvenient." Dawa said.

Yumai Township, with an area of thousands of square kilometers, is the least populous organized township in China, and by the end of 2017, there were only 9 households and 32 residents in the township. Because it is blocked by several mountains with an altitude of more than 5,000 meters, since the establishment of the township in 1960, for a long time, only the elderly Sanjay Quba has lived here with two daughters, Zhuoga and Yangzong, and is known as the "Three People Township". Dawa's arrival ended the history of Yumai Township without civil servants for more than 50 years.

When he first arrived in Yumai, the story of the first township mayor, Sanjay Quba's father and daughter, herding and guarding the border, deeply touched Dawa. Yumai is a famous border township with a border line of 79 kilometers. The vast majority of the areas under its jurisdiction are no-man's land, and while developing production and building homes, the masses are also shouldering the heavy responsibility of guarding the border. As the third mayor of Yumai Township, Dawa felt a great responsibility.

In order to accurately grasp the actual situation in the surrounding area, Dawa often walked on the border alone, a pot of water, a bag of rice, and a sleeping bag, measuring the actual border line with her feet. In addition, he has crossed 13 large and small mountain passes with an average altitude of 4700 meters six times, walked into no man's land, and drew a "mileage map of no man's land on the border of Yumai Township".

In March 2016, after Dawa became the secretary of the party branch of Yumai Township, she took the establishment of a strong grass-roots party organization as the primary task of leading the masses to control poverty and become rich, and established the Party Branch of Yumai Village, opening up the "last kilometer" of serving the people.

Through the party organization to lead the masses to develop side businesses, the masses opened family hotels, shops, transportation, and pig farms while grazing and guarding the border. With the implementation of the state's strategy of consolidating borders and enriching the people, the Yumai Township Road was opened in 2011, and the income of villagers continued to increase. "By the end of last year, the per capita annual income of Yumai Township reached more than 50,000 yuan, far exceeding the average level of the whole district, of which policy-oriented income accounted for more than 30%." Dawa said, "With the increase in the circulation of commodities, the masses' operating income, animal husbandry income, transportation income, and handicraft income will further increase, and the masses' lives will become better and better." ”
