Dawa Ouzhu is the party secretary of the Tibet Autonomous Region Transportation Department

According to the Tibet Daily, on December 11, the Transportation Department of the Tibet Autonomous Region held a meeting on the appointment of cadres. At the meeting, it was announced that the regional party committee had decided that Comrade Dawa Ouzhu would be appointed secretary of the party committee and deputy director of the Tibet Autonomous Region Transportation Department.

According to public information, Dawa Ouzhu was born in October 1966, a native of Zhanang, Tibet, and after graduating from the Shannan District Normal School in 1984, she worked as a teacher at the Shannan District No. 2 Primary School, and later transferred to the Education Department of the Shannan District Education and Sports Committee.

In 1993, Dawa Ouzhu was transferred to the Organization Department of the Tibet Autonomous Region Party Committee, and later served as deputy director of the second cadre management department, deputy director of the first cadre management division, and director of the second cadre division.

In 2009, Dawa Ouzhu was transferred to the Standing Committee of the Lhasa Municipal Party Committee and the Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission for 3 years, and in 2012, she was transferred to the deputy secretary of the Nyingchi Prefectural Committee and the director of the organization department.

In 2016, Dawa Ouzhu was appointed deputy secretary of the party committee and deputy director of the Tibet Autonomous Region Administration for Industry and Commerce, and was clearly defined as the main department level. In 2017, Dawa Ouzhu was appointed director of the Tibet Autonomous Region Administration for Industry and Commerce, and in 2018, she was appointed deputy secretary of the party group, director and director of the Intellectual Property Office of the Tibet Autonomous Region Market Supervision and Administration Bureau.

On October 18 this year, the Tibet Autonomous Region Discipline Inspection Commission Supervision Commission issued the following news: Yongji, secretary of the party committee and deputy director of the Tibet Autonomous Region Transportation Department, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and was subject to disciplinary review and supervision and investigation by the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Tibet Autonomous Region.

The three directors of the Tibet Autonomous Region's Transportation Department were all recently investigated: Zhao Shijun (director from 2004 to 2012), Tashi Jiangcuo (director from 2012 to 2015), and Yongji (director from 2017 to 2020).
