The 2021 China Wuyuan "Dream Hometown Cup" National Amateur Go Open Tournament is hosted by the China Weiqi Association and the Wuyuan County People's Government. The competition is divided into four groups: amateur group, open group, middle-aged group and senior group, with a total of nearly 300 chess players participating. For the first time, the open group of this tournament allowed professional chess players and male chess players below four stages (inclusive) and 150 points in the latest level to register for the competition, creating a precedent for amateur competitions.
