According to the Guangdong Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission's Supervision Commission, with the approval of the Guangdong Provincial CPC Committee, the Guangdong Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission Supervision Commission recently filed a case for examination and investigation into He Xin, former deputy secretary of the party leading group and deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Zhanjiang Municipal People's Congress, for serious violations of discipline and law.

After investigation, He Xin lost his ideals and convictions, betrayed his original mission, violated political discipline, and resisted organizational scrutiny; violated honesty and discipline, accepted gifts that might affect the fair execution of official duties, and gave gifts to personnel engaged in public service that obviously exceeded normal courtesies and exchanges; his selfish desires and greed swelled, he engaged in power and money transactions with illegal private entrepreneurs, sought benefits for others in contracting projects and speeding up land transfer, and illegally accepted huge amounts of money.

He Xin seriously violated the party's political discipline and honest discipline, constituted a serious violation of official duties and was suspected of accepting bribes, and did not restrain or accept after the Eighteenth National Congress of the Party, which was serious in nature and had a bad impact, and should be dealt with severely. In accordance with the "Regulations on Disciplinary Punishment of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Government Sanctions," and other relevant provisions, upon study by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission and reported to the provincial party committee for approval, it was decided to give He Xin the punishment of expulsion from the party; the provincial supervision commission gave him the punishment of expulsion from public office; terminated his qualifications as a deputy to the Eleventh Party Congress of Zhanjiang City; confiscated his proceeds of violations of discipline and law; transferred his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution according to law, and the property involved was transferred with the case.
