On October 9, Zhou Weixing, secretary of the Heshan District Party Committee, went to the District Natural Resources Bureau to investigate and preside over a symposium, and district leaders Chen Weimin and Tan Zhengxiang attended the meeting.

At the forum, Zhou Weixing and his party listened to the report on the work of natural resources in Heshan District, and the heads of various participating departments made speeches on the relevant work.

Zhou Weixing pointed out that "planning science is the greatest benefit, planning mistakes are the greatest waste, and planning tossing is the biggest taboo" as an important basis for carrying out planning work, and strive to make planning more scientific and forward-looking; it is necessary to make good use of one's own "brain" and the "hand" of living experts, clarify development positioning, scientifically plan and deploy, integrate one's own thinking into the opinions of experts, further clarify the key points of work, continuously improve the scientificity, pertinence, and operability of planning, and complete planning work with high standards.

Zhou Weixing demanded that we should firmly adhere to the three bottom lines of ecological protection red line, permanent basic farmland protection red line, and urban development boundary, do a good job in all aspects of spatial planning, and reflect actions and responsibilities in keeping the bottom line; we must make overall plans for development. It is necessary to focus on the long term, grasp the overall trend, coordinate the development of the park, rural revitalization, transportation construction and other aspects of the planning information docking, to achieve the effective docking of the work of the various centers and planning work in the region, to establish a unified, scientific and efficient planning system for the whole region, and to promote the realization of high-quality development in the whole region.
