Wang Yan resigned as a director of Moutai in Guizhou

Beijing News (reporter Xue Chen) Guizhou Moutai Liquor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guizhou Moutai") issued an announcement on January 7, saying that the board of directors received a written resignation report from the company's director Wang Yan on January 6, 2021, and Wang Yan applied to resign as a director of the company and the corresponding position of the special committee under the board of directors due to job changes. According to the relevant regulations, Wang Yan's resignation took effect when the resignation report was delivered to the board of directors.

The announcement did not disclose Wang Yan's specific work trends. However, according to the notice of job adjustment published by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government on the official website on January 5, Wang Yan was recommended as a director, vice chairman and general manager of Guizhou Wujiang Energy Group Co., Ltd., and it was proposed that he no longer serve as a director of China Guizhou Moutai Distillery (Group) Co., Ltd.

It is reported that Wang Yan once served as the director of the Office of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Guizhou Province (Party Committee Office), the secretary of the Party Committee and the Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Guizhou Panjiang Investment Holding (Group) Co., Ltd., the member of the Party Committee and the Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Guizhou Panjiang State-owned Capital Operation Co., Ltd., the member of the Party Committee and the Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Guizhou Panjiang Coal and Power Group Co., Ltd., and is currently the deputy secretary and director of the Party Committee of China Guizhou Moutai Distillery (Group) Co., Ltd. and the director of Guizhou Moutai.
