Recently, Wang Yan's "The Golden Leopard of Taihang Mountain" and other Taihang Mountain series of long animal novels were published and listed by Hope Publishing House.
Set against the backdrop of the Taihang Mountains, the series of books selects wild animals such as golden leopards, Taihang macaques, and wild boars living in this mountain forest as the protagonists, depicting a wonderful picture of inspirational beauty among animals. From the loss of her child by the mother leopard to the adoption of the orphan of her own nemesis, the other female leopard; from the orphan monkey Jinduo, who lost her mother a few months old, to the generation of monkey kings who grew up on the Taihang Mountains; from the difficult growth journey of two small wild boar orphans, to the brothers' touching brotherhood of supporting each other in adversity. Each book has a positive and motivating theme, so that people can be infected and inspired when watching wonderful stories, and learn to face life bravely.
The Taihang Mountains are steep, sweeping through the sky and the water. The environment is beautiful, the vegetation is luxuriant, and many wild animals are thriving here, and this is a paradise for wild animals, which provides the most authentic material for my animal novel creation.
About author: Wang Yan was born at the foot of the Taihang Mountains. He has published many animal novels such as "The Growth of the Snow Lion", "The Wolf of the Sad Cliff", "The Golden Leopard of the Taihang Mountain" and so on. He has published many literary works in domestic newspapers and magazines. Participated in the application for the 10th National Excellent Children's Literature Award, and won the 2020 Literary and Art Excellence Support Award of the Propaganda Department of Jiaozuo Municipal Party Committee. He is currently a member of the Henan Writers Association, a member of the Henan Children's Literature Society, and a director of the Jiaozuo Liberated Area Writers Association.
