On the morning of July 6, 2024, Tianjiabing Experimental Middle School of Maotanchang Middle School Education Group successfully held the second campus open day of the spring semester of 2024. This activity is open to all parents of the second and third years of high school, aiming to enhance home-school communication, strengthen summer safety education, and jointly promote the all-round development of students.
The event was held in each classroom and was chaired by Vice Principal Takemi. In the first phase of the school-wide radio conference, Chen Xuguang, secretary of the party branch and president of the school, gave a speech entitled "Parents and schools work together to draw a blueprint and work together to create brilliance". President Chen introduced the development of the school in recent years in detail from three aspects: the establishment of the school, the development of the school by management, and the achievement of the school. When introducing the school's various measures and remarkable achievements in education, teaching and student management, Principal Chen called on parents to further strengthen communication and cooperation with the school, and work together with the school to lay a solid foundation for the future of students.
Subsequently, Cao Yanyan, a teacher from the Jin'an District Youth Mental Health Education Center, conducted a special training on parent-child communication in the summer for all parents. Combining her rich knowledge and practical experience in psychology, Ms. Cao shared many practical parent-child communication skills to help parents establish a better interactive relationship with their children during the summer vacation.
In the second phase of the class meeting, the class teachers introduced the overall situation of the class in detail this semester, and carried out summer safety education for parents, focusing on drowning prevention, traffic safety, telecom fraud prevention and summer mental health education. After the meeting, the class teacher had face-to-face communication with some parents in response to the situation of the class, and answered the parents' doubts in the process of educating their children.
The campus open day has achieved remarkable results, and parents have responded enthusiastically. They said that through this activity, they not only deepened their understanding of the school, but also learned a lot of practical education methods and safety knowledge, and were full of confidence in their children's future.
