On the morning of May 13, 2024, Liangfeng Primary School in Anju Barjiang Town, Suining City, organized all teachers and students to carry out an earthquake emergency evacuation drill.
The ringing of the first alarm bell officially kicked off the prelude to the earthquake emergency evacuation drill. The teachers and students of the school reacted quickly, dodging under the table as quickly as possible, hugging their heads, curling their bodies, lowering their body center of gravity, and protecting their heads with schoolbags and other items. As the second alarm bell sounded, the teachers performed their duties and put the safety of the students first, leading the students to bend over, protect their heads, and evacuate to a safe area along the designated evacuation route in a quick and orderly manner.
After evacuating to a designated safe location, the class teacher immediately counts the class size, checks whether there are any students who have fallen behind, and reports the class situation to ensure that all teachers and students do not miss anything. Finally, Liang Jinfeng, deputy director of moral education, then conducted skills training on earthquake evacuation, emergency avoidance and safety knowledge.
