At noon on May 10, the Federation of Community Trade Unions of Chunxiaoyuan Community, Maigaoqiao Street, invited female employees of the Community Health Service Center to walk into the staff library and carry out a reading activity for female employees called "Thanksgiving Mother's Love and Rose Books" on the occasion of Mother's Day.
The community started a magical journey of reading with a unique bookmark around the theme of roses. Under the guidance of the community staff, everyone carefully learned the skills and techniques of origami, and used their wisdom and creativity to fold the most beautiful flowers in their minds. After folding and splicing step by step, a delicate rose bookmark was born. In the process of origami creation, the female employees gradually slowed down their busy and tired hearts, and reduced the psychological pressure brought by daily work and life in a rare leisure break.
Family is hope and sustenance for every Chinese, and it is often said that the mother is the soul of a family and the most important feng shui of a family. There are many book lists about mothers in the staff library, such as Shi Tiesheng's "Me and the Altar of Earth", Liang Xiaosheng's "Mother", and Long Yingtai's "Child, You Take Your Time...... Everyone is free to choose to read, feel the delicacy and affection of mother's love between the lines, and understand the rich connotation behind the identity of mother. During the event, the community also invited female employees from different jobs to tell their family stories. "I didn't understand the phrase 'women are weak, but mothers are strong', but in the first year of becoming a mother, I understood the mission given to me by the word mother. It is a great and sacred thing to nourish and nurture a new life," shared Dr. Wong of the Health Service Centre. The sisters opened their hearts and spoke freely, sharing touches and exchanging emotions in the small things of parenting and parent-child interaction, integrating the construction of family style into the daily life of the family, drawing spiritual strength from the stories of excellent family style and family education, and cultivating the feelings of the family and the country, so as to be the inheritors and promoters of good family style.
In the activity room, roses reflect the bright smiles of female employees. Everyone carefully bandages the bouquets and celebrates their own festival. Everyone wrote down their thanks and experiences on the message board, which shortened the distance between hearts. In the next step, the Chunxiaoyuan Community Federation of Trade Unions will further make good use of the employee service position, provide a platform for employees to grow and decompress themselves with diversified and rich activities, and further enhance the happiness, security and sense of gain of the employees.
