In a warm festive atmosphere, the hospitalized children presented special holiday gifts to 502 mothers and 467 nurses with the help of space social workers, corporate volunteers, and student volunteers from Shenzhen University.
At the event, under the guidance of the social worker of the caring space, the children made handicrafts such as butterfly gubath burlap bags, rose vases, small red flowers, and queen flower hats, and carefully selected treasure boxes and bracelets as holiday gifts for their mothers. These gifts not only represent the children's deep gratitude to their mothers, but also show their unique creativity and care. In addition, the children also used transparent photo frames to depict their mother's appearance, made a portrait of their mother, and used their cameras to capture the beautiful moments with their mothers, so that this love will be frozen forever.
In addition to gratitude to mothers, the event also featured a special focus on hard-working healthcare workers. The children and volunteers made graffiti flower baskets, gramophone greeting cards, quicksand painting ornaments, and thanksgiving videos to express their respect and gratitude to the nurses. These gifts embody the children's gratitude to the nurses and convey their recognition of the nurses' caring care like mothers.
