For many friends, the term "education modernization" should be "familiar" but not necessarily "detailed". As a key part of the country's modernization process, it is actually a dynamic and profound concept that covers all aspects related to education. In order to successfully achieve this goal, from the concept of education to the teaching method, from the teaching conditions to the education management, from the construction of the teaching staff to the quality of teaching, we need to further understand this strategic layout, so as to deepen theoretical innovation and continue to explore practice. The author also thinks about higher education from a few points, and is willing to discuss and exchange with colleagues in the industry.
1. Modernization of educational concepts. I think this should be the soul of educational modernization. The traditional concept of education often focuses on the inculcation of knowledge and the cultivation of test-taking ability, while the modern concept of education advocates people-oriented, respects students' personality differences and main position, pays attention to the all-round development of students, and is committed to cultivating high-quality talents with innovative spirit and practical ability. It requires educators to no longer be not only the transmitters of knowledge, but also the guides and promoters of students' growth. At the same time, it is also necessary to pay attention to the lifelong nature of education. It can be said that the fundamental purpose of educational modernization is to train modern people. If the concept does not change, I am afraid that it will be a tree without roots.
2. Modernization of teaching methods. This is an important embodiment of the modernization of education. Modern teaching should pay attention to students' participation and experience, and let students acquire knowledge and improve their abilities through the flexible use of various teaching methods such as heuristics, inquiry, discussion, and project-based teaching methods. At the same time, it is supplemented by modern information technology to make the teaching content more vivid and vivid, and stimulate students' interest and initiative in learning. It is necessary to build a teaching model based on learners' feelings as the teaching leadership, so as to continuously optimize the teaching process, improve the teaching method, and improve the actual effectiveness of education and teaching.
3. Modernization of teaching conditions. This includes the modernization of teaching facilities, teaching resources, and educational environments. Advanced teaching equipment, modern network information, perfect experimental training places, spacious libraries and activity venues, etc., can provide students with a good learning and growth environment. 4. Modernization of educational management. A scientific, standardized and efficient management system can ensure the optimal allocation and rational use of educational resources. The management system and governance structure of schools should be transformed from the traditional education management and decision-making model to a more digital, scientific and precise model, and the construction of "smart campus" can be used as a carrier to further release and improve the potential and efficiency of school digital governance. At the same time, we should also pay attention to democratic management, encourage teachers and students to participate in the management and decision-making process of the school, and invite enterprise industry experts to participate in the construction of the curriculum, so as to better cultivate and use all kinds of talents, and stimulate the innovative vitality and creative potential of teachers and students.
5. Modernization of teaching and teaching staff. The modernization of teachers is the key to the modernization of education. Without modern teachers, it is difficult to have modern education. This requires that contemporary teachers must have noble pedagogical ethics, profound knowledge, advanced educational concepts and solid teaching skills. As a school, in addition to continuously strengthening the professional training and education of teachers and improving the professional quality and teaching ability of teachers, it is also necessary to encourage teachers to actively participate in educational research and practice, and constantly explore new teaching methods and means. 6. Modernization of teaching quality assurance. In terms of process management, it is necessary to comprehensively monitor and guide teaching activities by formulating teaching standards, strengthening classroom management, and implementing student evaluation. In terms of outcome evaluation, it is necessary to use diversified evaluation systems and methods to conduct a comprehensive and objective evaluation of students' learning outcomes to reflect the actual situation of teaching quality. At the same time, it is also necessary to strengthen the information feedback and continuous improvement mechanism of teaching quality to achieve continuous improvement of teaching quality.
