The half marathon route is: (starting point) Pingyao Ancient City Visitor Center - Kangning Road - Shuanglin Avenue Viaduct - Shuanglin Avenue (East) - Binhe Road - Liugen Road - Luo Zhewen Road - Wang Jinghui Road - Zheng Xiaoxie Road - Liugen Road (West) - Shuncheng South Road - Shuanglin Avenue (West) - Xingping Road Intersection Turnaround - Shuanglin Avenue (East) - Courtyard Community - Yinhui - Yinhui Reservoir Dam - Pingyao Wetland Park - Pingyao Source Happy Valley (Finish). More than 800 police and security personnel will be arranged to escort the contestants at 21 major intersections, 306 small intersections, and 32 remote control points; The event set up 11 fixed medical points, 21 AEDs, 6 ambulances, 2 designated hospitals, 105 medical personnel, and hired a marathon professional rescue agency Swan Rescue to be responsible for the first aid coordination of the event.

The event is equipped with 40,000 bottles of mineral water, 10,000 bottles of functional drinks, 8,000 bananas, 8,000 cucumbers, 400 kilograms of cherry tomatoes, 800 kilograms of watermelon, 20,000 pieces of bread, 40,000 paper cups, 16,000 cooling sponges, and 8,000 energy gels. 1,021 volunteers were allocated to provide warm and meticulous services for the contestants; Equipped with a professional stretching area to help players recover as soon as possible and avoid injury.
