In order to welcome the upcoming 34th "National Day for the Disabled" and the 25th "Shanghai Week for the Disabled", a "Love Together, You and I Walk" Fun Games for the Disabled was held in Shanghai Nanhu Vocational School.
The participants of this fun sports meeting include people with disabilities in Liangcheng Xincun Street and Jiangwan Town Street, special education students and student volunteers in the school.
The competitions set up in the sports day are full of fun. From the "Rock Solid" which tests the sense of balance, to the "Blind Thrower" that challenges vision and accuracy, to the "Frisbee Maze", "Interlocking" and "Back Ball Battle" that pay equal attention to skill and teamwork, and the "Golden Rooster Lays Eggs" full of laughter, the disabled people can experience the sense of achievement and joy brought by fun sports in the process of participation.
The faces of the contestants were always filled with bright smiles, everyone encouraged each other, and the tacit understanding and friendship between each other quietly grew in the game, and the atmosphere was more and more enthusiastic because of the applause and cheers of the audience.
The organizers said that the Games is not only a stage for sports competition, but also a model of close cooperation between the neighborhood and the campus, which has deepened the understanding and support of the younger generation for the disabled group, and injected new impetus into promoting the care and support of the whole society for the disabled.
Liangcheng Xincun Street said that it will continue to carry out activities to benefit the disabled and help the disabled, so that the disabled and their families can feel more warmth of the party and the government, so that all sectors of society can better understand the needs and plight of the disabled, guide more people to support and understand the cause of the disabled, jointly build a more inclusive and harmonious society, and create a friendly and civilized atmosphere of integration between the disabled and the disabled.
