On May 10, the geological disaster drill of Mengzi City was carried out in Zhicun Town. The activity was carried out in the form of on-site drills and real-life simulations, and the relevant responsible comrades of various townships (streets) and municipal departments attended the scene.
The participants in the drill first conducted a venue drill in the small hall of the Zhicun Town Government, simulating the signs of landslides at the hidden danger points of Zhazhubai Village, Zhicun Town, due to continuous heavy rainfall, and the situation was urgent. The headquarters immediately activated the emergency plan, made detailed rescue arrangements, and then went to Zhazhubai Village to simulate the rescue operation.
At the simulated rescue site, the emergency rescue personnel are divided into on-site command center, medical rescue group, rescue and disaster relief group, material support group, and disaster monitoring group. It simulates the possible shortage of materials, casualties, and non-cooperation of villagers after the occurrence of geological disasters. Each rescue team performed its own duties and quickly plunged into the intense rescue work, guiding the people affected by the disaster to quickly evacuate and move to safe resettlement sites, and making all-out search and rescue efforts in the affected areas, providing emergency assistance to the injured, and ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
