There is a place that is particularly cool in summer, it is a real cool city, and you don't need to leave the air conditioner on all day. In the heat of summer, it's the perfect place to spend a holiday. Do you know where this is?
Liangdu, China
Liupanshui, the name has a very cool feeling, it is located in Guizhou Province and has a history of many years. It is not only a prefecture-level city in Guizhou, but also known as the "cool capital of China", and is a good place to escape the summer heat.
Only those who have been to Liupanshui will know what a 19-degree summer is like.
There are many theories about the name of Liupanshui, which is a city named after the climate, and the name of Liupanshui is also said not to come from Liupan Mountain, but is related to the previous third-line construction period.
At that time, Langdai County in Anshun became Liuzhi, and Pan County in Xingyi and Shuicheng County in Bijie joined forces to form this beautiful place, so it was called Liupanshui.
In Liupanshui, if someone tells you that you want to go to Shuicheng, don't get me wrong, it's actually going to Liupanshui City, and you want to go to the seat of the Shuicheng County Government, which is Shuangshui. The people of Liupanshui City never claim to be from Zhongshan District or from the urban area, and they have a special name - "Shuicheng people". So what do the people of Shuicheng County call them?
There are also people in their saying, "Shuicheng County". It has to be made clear that "Shuicheng people" and "Shuicheng County people" are actually people from two different places.
Liupanshui locals and old Guizhou people are accustomed to calling Liupanshui City District Shuicheng and Shuicheng County Shuangshui. The name of "Shuicheng" has nothing to do with the administrative division of Shuicheng County, this is my personal understanding, I don't know if it's right.
Just like Zunyi people are accustomed to calling Zunyi urban area Zunyi, the former Zunyi County (now Banzhou District) next to it is called Nanbai, and the southern white people go to Zunyi urban area as "go to Zunyi", and Shuangshui (flood dam) people go to Liupanshui urban area is also called "go to water city".
The reason for this habit is simple! Externally, it is said that Liupanshui is called Water City, and internally it is called Water City. Q: Where are you from?
I would say six pans of water. This represents the entire Liupanshui (Liuzhi, Panzhou, Shuicheng, Zhongshan). For the locals, from Panzhou to Liupanshui City, no one will say to go to Liupanshui, they all say to go to Shuicheng. Because this city used to belong to Shuicheng County.
As for Shuicheng County, which was later changed to a district and a city, what is its name, it is not within the scope of our consideration. I think the traditional name of Shuicheng County is very good! For example, Sankou County and Jinggang County in Japan are also very developed, and they are not still called counties! Is there anything bad about the county?
Since the implementation of the county system in the Qin Dynasty, more than 2,000 years have passed, and the name "county" has been used to this day.
The forests there are green and the mountains are undulating, and they are very beautiful. Take a spin around Liupanshui and you'll be mesmerized by the natural scenery here. In the distance, the mountains under the blue sky and white clouds, and up close, the green trees can feel the magic of nature.
Liupanshui is not only beautiful, but also rich in history and culture. The historical relics of the construction period of the third line show how glorious this place was in the past.
You can visit the historical buildings there and get a feel for the era. Liupanshui also has a special ethnic culture, such as the Miao people, the Yi people, etc., which adds a different color to this place.
Umeng steppe
The Wumeng Prairie of Liupanshui is a treasure of natural beauty in Guizhou, attracting a large number of tourists to enjoy its magnificent scenery and unique cultural charm. In this savannah, you can feel the magic of nature and the vitality of life, and enjoy a special travel experience.
Wumeng Grassland is located in Liupanshui City, in the southeast of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, and is a mountain grassland with a high altitude. When you come to the Wumeng Prairie, you will be amazed that there is such a flat river in Guizhou, where there are almost no plains.
If the grassland on the slope is more beautiful in summer, especially when there is fog, it is really called being in a fairyland.
When the sky is clear, the grassland is full of free beauty, like a green treasure land in the sky, in this vibrant grassland, the sky is blue and intoxicating.
The white clouds floated leisurely, as if they were within reach. Cattle and sheep can also be seen on the grassland, but in this place with the most mountains, you can also see the magnificence of the grassland.
Walking through the grassland, the breeze gently brushes your cheeks, bringing bursts of fresh air and natural aromas, which are refreshing.
It is a haven away from the hustle and bustle, where you can forget your worries and indulge in the peace and beauty.
When you come to Panxian, you must try spicy chicken glutinous rice, lotus leaf glutinous rice chicken and dry pot beef. This is a unique flavor of Guizhou, and if you like to stimulate your taste buds like this, the food here will definitely shock you. If you're interested in prehistoric human remains, you can also visit the Dadong Ruins.
Liupanshui has a lot of tourism resources, whether it is natural scenery or cultural landscape, it can make tourists have a lot of fun. You can go to the famous Huangguoshu Waterfall to see and feel the momentum of nature; You can also go to Hongfeng Lake to enjoy the beautiful scenery; You can also taste the local food, and your mouth will be very happy.
Liupanshui is a different tourist resort, it is a little low-key, it may not be so prominent in the mountains and rivers of the motherland, but it can always give you a different experience, so that you can come from thousands of miles to feel the most unique scenery in the southwest.
The unique natural scenery, rich history and culture, and cool climate attract a large number of tourists. Only by going there in person can you appreciate the beauty and charm of Liupanshui.
In the past, because of the inconvenient transportation, everyone would choose Guiyang. But now, transportation has become very convenient, so we are going to compare the quality of urban construction. In this regard, Liupanshui is better than Guiyang. As for the climate, there is not much difference between the two places.
If you talk about tourist attractions, there are more scenic spots around Bijie City than Liupanshui. Therefore, whether you want to escape the heat in the city or go to the scenic spot to escape the heat, Bijie has more room for choice.
However, I have to remind you that you should compare several hotels when staying, because the consumption in Bijie is the same as in Guiyang, which is on the high side.
