1. The high-end model Buick dominates, and it is an accident that the Sena fails

The China Automobile Quality Network, sponsored by the China Quality Newspaper of the State Administration for Market Regulation, lists the quality of different models every year. The 2023 MPV quality list of China Automotive Quality Network is divided into two levels: more than 200,000 and less than 200,000.

Among the more than 200,000 classes, the Buick Century ranked first with a score of 130 (the lower the score, the better the quality). The second place is SAIC Volkswagen's Weiran, and Honda's Elysian and Odyssey's two old cars are in third and fourth place respectively.

Toyota's Grevia came in fifth. The Buick GL8 is in sixth place on the list with a score of 145.

Amazingly, Sena, which has always been known for its excellent quality, came in eighth place, with a score below average. Even lower than the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, which is often criticized for quality problems.

However, among the domestic MPVs, there is no controversy about several high-ranking models.

2. Trumpchi M8 topped the list, and JAC was at the bottom

Among the MPV models, most of the joint ventures and imported MPVs are priced at more than 200,000 yuan. Less than 200,000 is the world of domestically produced MPVs. Among them, the M8 produced by GAC Trumpchi ranked first in the MPV quality list below 200,000 with a score of 143 points.

The SAIC MAXUS G20 and G90 models ranked second and third. In the list, the two MPVs produced by JAC are at the bottom. And these two cars are almost disappearing from the market at the moment.

So to a certain extent, China's auto market is also experiencing a positive cycle of "good money driving out bad money". In the field of new energy MPVs, this situation is also continuing to evolve.

3. The quality of the MPV market is uneven, and the new energy MPV is waiting for word-of-mouth fermentation

Due to the focus on comfort, some automakers prefer to load various intelligent configurations on MPV models. If there are many configurations, the failure rate will naturally increase. And this is also the point that many people are most worried about when it comes to new energy vehicles.

However, it can be seen from the quality ranking of new energy MPVs that the quality of high-end new energy MPVs is generally good. The top of the list are all models with a price of about 300,000 yuan, and some of the top models even have a price of more than 500,000 yuan.

Among them, the Denza D9 is one of the highest-selling models in the MPV market. ZEEKR 009 and Dongfeng Group's VOYAH Dreamer are also well-known models.

The models that rank lower on the quality list of new energy MPVs are also some models with low prices and low popularity. It can be seen that in the future, as the MPV market continues to develop, the situation of polarization and the strong will continue to be strong may be further intensified.
