In order to further improve the health literacy and nursing awareness of residents in the district, on the occasion of International Nurses Day on May 12, Ximu Party and Mass Service Center, Fenglin Street, Xuhui District, carried out an activity of "Caring for Love, Warm Heart and Health FAN-Science Free Consultation into Fenglin". The activity was divided into two parts: free clinic and first aid knowledge popularization, which attracted more than 100 community residents and employees of the district units to participate.
Free clinic practices the original intention
During the free clinic, the residents and employees on the scene were highly interested, some residents arrived early to wait for the medical staff, and some residents brought their own physical examination reports to seek professional interpretation on the spot. Nurses from the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Cancer Hospital, Pediatric Hospital, Zhongshan Hospital, East China Hospital, and Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, as well as the volunteer service team of Aixin Society, used their rich clinical experience to answer the health problems of community residents and employees of units under their jurisdiction rigorously and meticulously. The Fenglin Street Community Health Service Center sent family doctors to carry out traditional Chinese medicine consulting services, providing medication guidance for community residents and employees of units under its jurisdiction from the aspects of geriatric care, gynecology, oncology, and traditional Chinese medicine, and carried out blood pressure and blood sugar measurement activities.

After the free clinic, the organizer presented Nurses' Day blessings and flowers to the nursing experts who participated in the consultation.
First aid knowledge popularization
The volunteer service team of Aixin Club brought a lecture on "Identifying the Risk of Cerebral Infarction and Revealing the 120 Rules", which brought vivid science popularization to the residents by combining two-person interaction, stories and explanations, and interspersed with sketches and questions. The lecture "Heimlich First Aid Maneuver" mainly explained the relevant knowledge of stroke identification, prevention, first aid, rehabilitation and reexamination, and the volunteers of the School of Nursing of Fudan University brought the residents on-site first aid knowledge and experience of airway foreign bodies through explanations and prop experience, which benefited the residents a lot.
The event was hosted by the Party Working Committee and Office of Fenglin Street and the School of Nursing of Fudan University, and organized by the Alumni Association of the School of Nursing of Fudan University, the Fenglin Branch of the Regional Party Building Promotion Association, the Fenglin Street Women's Federation, and the Fenglin Street New Era Civilization Practice Sub-center. It is reported that Fenglin Street will continue to gather the strength of regional units through the regionalized party building platform, give full play to the public service function of the street, further deepen the civilized practice brand of "Fengshang Healthy Block" in the new era, expand the influence of the healthy block, promote the sharing of high-quality public services, and create a healthy block featuring the integration of "medical and physical care", so as to provide more convenient health services for community residents at their doorstep.
