On the occasion of the 16th National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day in mainland China, Ziwei Experimental Kindergarten cooperated with Hongmei Street Business School in Xuhui District, and at the same time carried out earthquake prevention and disaster reduction education together with Caohejing Fire and Rescue Station, providing a strong guarantee for the healthy growth of children.
Before the drill, the firefighters of Caohejing Fire and Rescue Station popularized the knowledge of earthquake rescue for the little cute babies in Ziwei Experimental Kindergarten, and guided the children to master the basic knowledge of rapid escape and self-rescue in the event of an earthquake by watching multimedia courseware, so as to enhance their own safety awareness. The firefighters also showed the children the role of rescue tools such as rescue suits, breathing masks, air breathing apparatus, and toothless cutting machines.
At the end of the drill, the firefighters popularized various rope knotting methods and basic rescue methods for kindergarten teachers and security guards, so as to improve their emergency avoidance, self-rescue and mutual rescue response capabilities.
