On the morning of May 10, the launching ceremony of the "10,000 Steps" Walking Incentive Competition in Xiong'an New Area and the launching ceremony of the "10,000 Steps" Walking Incentive Competition in Xiongxian County were held in the People's Government Square of Xiongxian County. Men Yang, member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of Xiong'an New Area, attended the launching ceremony and delivered a speech. Gao Lichun, director of the Public Service Bureau of Xiong'an New Area, presided over the launching ceremony.
The event was hosted by the Public Service Bureau of Xiong'an New Area, the Federation of Trade Unions of the New District, the Publicity and Internet Information Bureau of the New District, the Xiongxian County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the People's Government of Xiongxian County, and undertaken by the Health Bureau of Xiongxian County, Rongcheng County Health Bureau, and Anxin County Health Bureau.
At the launching ceremony, Men Yang, member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Xiong'an New Area, Ding Rui, Director of the Medical Emergency Division of the Hebei Provincial Health Commission, and Fu Hongyu, head of the Xiong'an County Government, delivered speeches respectively.
Fu Hongyu, head of Xiongxian County, said in his speech that the holding of this event is not only a practical action for Xiongxian County to actively respond to the call for action of "Healthy China", implement the deployment of national fitness in the "Healthy China" Action (2019-2030), consolidate and deepen the achievements of the creation of the provincial comprehensive prevention and control demonstration zone for chronic diseases, but also an effective carrier to further lead and drive the national sports and national fitness upsurge. After the launching ceremony, relevant leaders from the province, new districts and three counties, as well as 30 walking teams, set off from the launching ceremony site to carry out walking activities.
