In order to develop mature drone products, innovation teams in the two places often need to repeatedly "check the table" according to the nodes. What is surprising is that although the space distance is long, the R&D production efficiency of the enterprise has risen instead of decreasing, and the R&D cost has also been greatly reduced.
In the face of such questions, Li Zhiguo, deputy general manager of Zhidao Technology, happily calculated a "research and development account" for the reporter about time and cost. He said: "In the past, when Zhidao Technology was developing and updating the new firmware of the navigation flight control system in Beijing, colleagues from the technical department needed to get up early and drive two hours from the flight site from Changping to Daxing for testing and verification, and flew up to 4 flights a day. Once there is an abnormality in the middle, the test verification cannot be completed, and it takes about 5 hours on the way back and forth. After the company moved to Tianjin Binhai New Area, the flight site is only about 15 minutes' drive away from the company, and 8 flight tests can be completed every day. Under this "two-city model", the company's UAV avionics products have increased from the original 3 series of 6 products to 6 series of 48 products, covering various avionics equipment used in UAVs. Nowadays, in the field of navigation flight control system, the "brain" of the UAV, the company has developed four products: Sagittarius navigation flight control system, Leo 2 navigation flight control system, Taurus 2 navigation flight control system, and Neptune combination guide system, all of which have been mass-produced and sold. At present, the annual output value of Zhidao Technology has exceeded 20 million yuan, and more than 100 patents and software copyrights have been declared around product appearance, software, hardware, etc. In 2024, Zhidao Technology will further accelerate the pace of high-quality development, continue to maintain an annual revenue growth of 15%-20%, and push 2 self-developed new products from the laboratory to the production line to achieve mass production "from 1 to N".

At the core of Binhai-Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park, Tianjin's first large-scale new industrial land (M0) project, Beitang Bay Digital Economy Industrial Park, broke ground. In April this year, the first phase of the project was successfully capped.
