Since the Song Dynasty, especially in the Ming and Qing dynasties, the use of scholars has made great progress, in addition to the four main stationery of pen, ink, paper, inkstone, there are also some other supporting utensils. The collections in this special exhibition are all beloved things collected by the owner of Chengxin Thatched Cottage for many years. The outer wall is grooved and inlaid with magnolia flowers left and right, the curly stem is strong and powerful, there is a sense of vicissitudes, the magnolia flowers are in the branches or want to put it, or bloom, the pieces are full, such as the spring breeze. On the tough branches, the bird looks back and perches, pokes its head and tail, its body is fat, its wings are plump, and its posture is lifelike. This product depicts the scene of the parting of old friends, but seeing the flowing clouds, the huge rocks are stacked, the ancient pines are meandering, the dense forests and bamboos are cultivated, and the thatched huts are hidden in the meantime, the artistic conception is wonderful, showing the elegance of the mountain dwelling; outside the fence gate, the coat priest sends each other with a cane, and the old man in front of him takes the child to say goodbye; the auxiliary scene is also depicted very vividly, on one side of the river, the boatman has already been ready, waiting for departure.
The overall scene is rich, the combing of the relationship between the characters, and the grasp of the main scene are really ingenious, highlighting the subjectivity of the story, and showing the reluctance to say goodbye to the fullest. On the boulder on one side of the pen holder, Du Fu's "Southern Neighbor" is engraved with seven words of poetry: "Baisha Cuizhujiang Village is twilight, and the moonlight is new in Chaimen." "Yungu", Yang Qian's words. This pen holder process has a sense of thick accumulation, from the hollow to see the side of the ornamentation, the pattern, the three-dimensional sense of the figure is very strong, and after many years of play, the side has a round image. The overall style tends to be simple and simple, but the technique is old and spicy and mature, with the style of the bamboo people of the Jiading school in the late Ming Dynasty.

The picture can be seen that the strange rocks overlap, the ancient pine through the rock, the curvature like a dragon, forming a background that sets off the theme, and appropriately expresses the layers of the scene; Zhang was born under the bearded ancient pine, the stone case of Hengqin, plucking the strings lightly, the face is handsome and gentle, as if there is an aftersound, endless. Accompanied by the matchmaker, the warbler is concentrating on the sound of the piano. Such an affectionate and lingering love scene, faithful to the original plot, perfectly combines literature and art, which is pleasing to the eye.

Cylindrical plain furnace with simple shape. The furnace body is regular in casting, the height is combined, the wall is slightly arced, and the round mouth and the rigid lines form a sharp contrast between straight and round, rigid and soft. The three legs and the lower edge of the furnace body are exquisitely undulating, like the wind blowing the water surface, the microwave is flooding, soft and natural, which is the technological characteristics of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.
There is an exposed copper place on the toe, which shows that the copper has been refined for a long time, and its color has been fine and red, which is more than the copper refining used in the copper furnace in later generations.
