Since its establishment in 2015, the Rural Planning and Construction Branch of the Urban Planning Society of China has published a number of books, including essay collections, competition portfolios, teaching materials, etc.
In 2024, the new book "Rural Revitalization - Proceedings of the 2022 Academic Annual Meeting of the Rural Planning and Construction Academic Committee of the Urban Planning Society of China", jointly edited and published by the Rural Planning and Construction Branch of the Urban Planning Society of China, the Urban and Rural Development Research Center of Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Planning and Design Group Co., Ltd., the School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Nanjing University, the School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Southeast University, the School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University, and Shanghai Tongji Urban Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd. will be officially published.

Rural Revitalization - Proceedings of the 2022 Annual Conference of the Academic Committee of Rural Planning and Construction of the Urban Planning Society of China
2022 is the second year of comprehensively promoting rural revitalization, and the No. 1 document of the central government proposes to coordinate the layout of towns and villages, scientifically determine the classification of villages, and accelerate the preparation of village plans for villages with conditions and needs. It is of great significance to actively promote the research and academic exchanges of rural planning and construction for planning practice, so as to better promote the preparation and planning and construction of rural planning, including village planning, and implement the strategic requirements of comprehensively promoting rural revitalization.
To this end, the Rural Planning and Construction Branch of the Urban Planning Society of China is open to soliciting papers from domestic and foreign scholars and workers in related fields with the theme of "Comprehensively Promoting Rural Planning and Construction in the Context of Rural Revitalization". In the end, a total of 65 papers were included, including 27 speech papers and 38 selected papers, which included both theoretical research and practical exploration, which is a collection of achievements of rural planning and construction, and has strong reference and guiding significance for the future rural planning and construction work in the mainland.
