Along this passage, it only takes 5 minutes to reach the Zigong Station of the high-speed rail to the Xianshi Ancient Town Visitor Center. During the "May Day" period, the majority of tourists can taste the ancient town through this passage and appreciate the salt and taste of Zigong. The official opening of the project will make the Zigong Cultural Tourism Ring Road smoother and further improve the traffic reception.
Xianshi tourism fast track project is an important part of the third phase of the infrastructure construction project of the eastern new city, the starting point is located in the 8th group of Xiangshan Village, Xianshi Town, Yantan District, starting from Zigong high-speed rail No. 2 road, from north to south along the dome mountain, Niudeng Mountain, the east side of the rock cave wiring, through the Lion Mountain to arrive at the Xianshi Ancient Town Tourist Reception Center, the total length of the road is 1316 meters, the width of the road red line is 34 meters, the two-way 6 lanes, the design speed is 50km/h, the main construction content includes roads, pipe culverts, rainwater, sewage, lighting, landscaping, traffic security, intelligent transportation engineering, etc. As the contractor of the project, CCCC Guangzhou Waterway Bureau Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CCCC Guangzhou Waterway Bureau) has been paying close attention to the progress of the project since November last year to help the development of Zigong cultural tourism reach a new level.
Ding Zhenya, the technical director of the Zigong project of CCCC Guangzhou Aviation Bureau, told reporters that Zigong has entered the "double high-speed rail era" and opened up the Xianshi tourism fast channel, which will connect the ancient town of Xianshi, the Dinosaur Museum, Fangte, the lantern world and other important tourist attractions in Zigong, and create a unique boutique tourism route. In order to help Zigong's strategy of rejuvenating the city through cultural tourism, all the staff of CCCC Guangzhou Aviation Bureau twisted into a rope to quickly open up the fast channel of Xianshi tourism in a limited time, serve the overall situation of the local area, and show the responsibility of central enterprises.
In recent years, Zigong has begun to plan cultural and tourism cooperation with Chengdu, Yibin and other cities along the high-speed railway, forming a high-speed rail tourism loop economy along the way, creating a high-quality tourism route with high-speed rail as the main context, and the construction of "small transportation" in the city is in full swing.
It is understood that as an important part of the urban backbone transportation network of the eastern new city of Zigong, after the opening of the Xianshi tourism fast channel, it not only opens up the fast passage from the eastern new city to the ancient town of Xianshi and Fushun in the north-south direction, but also opens up the express road network from Zigong urban area to Bancang Industrial Park and connects the demonstration area in southern Sichuan and Chongqing, which is of great significance for improving the regional road network of the new urban area, realizing the integration of road and railway, alleviating the traffic congestion in the north and south of Zigong urban area, and promoting the high-quality development of the regional economy.
