It is also because of the favoritism of the United States that France has many opportunities, and when the United States does not agree to provide fifth-generation fighters to Middle Eastern countries other than Israel, the Rafale fighter of the French company Dassault has already sold well in the Middle East, and Egypt has abandoned the Russian Su-35 fighter and purchased the French Rafale fighter. Qatar and the United Arab Emirates have purchased French Rafale fighters, and many countries in the Middle East are currently purchasing Rafale fighters, so it is also a great stimulus to Oman's desire to buy, and recently Oman has publicly stated that it plans to buy 18-24 French Rafale fighters, and the current Omani Air Force fighter is the American F-16C / D and the European Typhoon.
France's Rafale fighter is more practical than the F-15EX, F/A-18E/F and F-16V that the United States is willing to export, the F-15EX is a heavy fighter, although the F-15EX is the latest model, but the F-15 was developed in the 70s of the last century, so the aerodynamic layout has been very backward. The F/A-18E/F is an aircraft carrier of the U.S. Navy, which was originally designed to be used for maritime operations, so there are many problems with land-based use. The French Rafale fighter has a late-mover advantage, because it is working at a time when the fourth-generation fighter of the United States has not changed much, and for this reason, it has received a lot of orders in recent years. The United States has so far not approved the provision of F-35A fighter jets to other allies in the Middle East, in addition to allowing France to "pick up leaks", but also to give China's J-31 fighter jets a possible opportunity. The Middle East will eventually purchase a large number of fifth-generation fighters, and because the United States is wary of Arab countries, the United States will not change its policy in the field of fifth-generation fighter exports in the short term. At the same time, due to the gap in France's fifth-generation fighters, the J-31 fighter developed by China is sufficiently competitive.
Under the declining trend of the United States, Arab countries in the Middle East are also wary of the United States, especially during the Ukraine crisis conflict and the new round of Palestinian-Israeli conflicts. Originally, the United States had sufficient competitiveness in weapons and equipment in the Middle East, but now the United States has to face new challenges, worrying that the military strength of the Arab countries in the Middle East will surpass that of Israel, and on the other hand, it has to cope with the increasing influence of China, but the United States cannot change the gradual decline of its influence in the Middle East.
