First, the joint statement issued by China and Russia mentioned that the two sides plan to solemnly celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the Soviet Union in the Great Patriotic War in 2025, and jointly promote the correct historical view of World War II; Second: Foreign media reported on the 17th that France decided to invite Russia to participate in the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings. From these two pieces of news, we can see that 79 years later, China, Russia, and France have reunited to stand firmly on the anti-fascist front.
Compared with 79 years ago, the United States and Britain, which were once anti-fascist allies, stood on opposite sides and colluded with Germany and Japan, the former fascist Axis powers, to form a new "axis of evil."
First, in order to contain China, the United States has accelerated its military loosening of Japan's military ties, and the two sides have frequently interfered in the situation in the Taiwan Strait and the South China Sea, posing a serious threat to regional countries. On 10 May, Japan's House of Councillors held a plenary session and passed a bill amending the "Law on the Establishment of the Ministry of Defense" by a majority vote of the ruling party, formally approving the establishment of a permanent body capable of commanding the Army, Navy, and Air Self-Defense Forces -- the "Unified and Cooperative Operations Command."
In an interview with CCTV News, domestic military experts said that from the First Sino-Japanese War to the War of Aggression against China to the Pacific War, once Japan decides to launch a war of aggression against other countries, it will set up a supreme command organization to coordinate the mobilization of all domestic troops and weapons and equipment, and integrate more resources in Japan to support the war.
Second: After the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in 2022, Germany took this opportunity to break through the "national defense taboo". Third: On May 18, 2023, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida signed the "Hiroshima Agreement", which includes the doubling of the size of the British military in joint military exercises and the redeployment of the British aircraft carrier strike group to the Indo-Pacific region in 2025.
While disrupting the stability of the Asia-Pacific region, the United Kingdom continues to ignite the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and is the first country among Western countries to provide Ukraine with main battle tanks, cruise missiles, and depleted uranium ammunition. Britain is an offshore country, far from the war zone, and wants a war in Europe and the world so that Britain can profit from it.
In World War II, about 70 million people died as a direct result of war and war-related causes. If the tragedy of history repeats itself, everyone will be affected to a greater or lesser extent, including the death and injury of loved ones and the bombing of houses to rubble.
